And take you're opinions and do likewise, as the believers here aren't listening. By the way, I don't thump bibles, and neither does a lot of believers. We are supposed to spread the word, and not force it down throats. Some do, and that doesn't help. I proved you wrong, and that link shows the stats, and you can find it in a lot of places. Over 2/3 is quite the majority.

You proved nothing. If Zeus does not exist, repeat the process one more time.

Belief in the afterlife (Heaven) is religions way to make sure you conform. Don't conform then it's eternal damnation for you. What a nice God. You believe in me otherwise you will burn for eternity.

Expand

It's an easy decision to believe in who created everything. He has laws that make sense and without 5 of those laws there would be chaos here. It's not religion but just a personal belief.

Too many mosquitos, and no antibiotics... what a pain it would be to reinvent the wheel and cooking with fire.... no books, movies or TV - and what about baseball?

Nothing bad or hurtful. I'm sure baseball would be allowed, as long as people didn't charge the mound if they got hit by a pitch. Books, music and movies which aren't Rated R or that have no sex, as it's not something we would have there.

Advertise your particular version of "The Book" of myths.

It might have some exaggerations, as people wrote it and may have bent the truth, but what we read in the bible is coming true in some ways.

Fancy creating childhood cancer and incurable diseases for just two examples. As for creationism what about evolution. Evolution can be proven. The universe being created by some almighty omnipotent being cannot.

Evolution to a certain point. That God put other hominids here before sapiens is evident. The same with dinosaurs, so we could use our noggins and have history.

No, he made different versions of hominids to give us history. You can look this up online if you want to understand  world history.

Wait God created Adam and Eve and God created dinosaurs. Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day of creation according to the book so how do dinosaurs fit in with this story. You also didn't address why God created childhood cancers and incurable diseases.

My brother woke up with a verse from jobs book, and started to read and became an evangelist finely.

So, who knows, but I'm thinking our brain is a universe itself, so a bit more natural explanation I think is more plausible.

At what again? I stated what his question was. Some people believe in an afterlife and some don't. No one has proof either way, so it's best not to argue about it. That some try to convince others there isn't a God isn't going to work, falling of deaf ears. There are no facts that dismiss a God, only other's opinions, most of which come from parents who didn't believe, or those who've experienced loss and blamed God, so they turned away from him. Believers do believe we all will see God. That's not BS. It's what we believe.

Some believe scientists opinions without any factual evidence about the universe's creation.

People already think for themselves believing in God. Some yes, are sheep, and follow because that's what they've been taught, but the same goes for non believers and who taught them, sheep also.

God didn't make Malaria harmless, just as he allowed cancer to happen, along with narcissism, depression, diabetes and a number of other ailments. You're again calling him a serial killer, but people die everyday from all manner of things, including natural causes, which means our life just ended because we, again, aren't supposed to live forever, again, because there is a life after this one and this one is a test. Forever is a lot longer than a mere100 years.

God knows exactly what he's doing. You have no idea what his plan is and couldn't guess because your mind isn't that far advanced, and neither is anyone else's. So, to us who believe, what you say is rubbish, as you can't prove otherwise.

If you would have been born in a Muslim country you would talk differently.

Days to us aren't necessarily days to God. If this is indeed a test, faith also comes from having things go wrong and still believing.

Or you can look up how evolution really made it happen. There is no divine intervention at any point in the story.

Yes, I could look up theories and facts, and then decide which is reality. Divine intervention is what started everything. That people have different ideas on what happened is obvious.

How do you know people saw heaven, when a more rational explanation is the hallucinations of a person  in extremis?

It really comes back to what you want to believe about such phenomena.

Do you believe in the doctrine of original sin? That has to be one of the most offensive and irrational concepts Christianity ever invented for its own purposes. Apart from celibacy, that is.

There's a lot of information out there. A person who's brain functions have ceased cannot hallucinate.

If you listened to that video about the Myanmar monk I posted, he was dead for days about to be cremated when he came back Of course some will never believe anything besides what they've been programmed to believe, but some have open minds.

Who really knows what facts and what's exaggerations in the Bible? People wrote it, supposedly listening to God. maybe they changed the stories a little. Noah's ark sounds a little out there, but again, with God anythings possible, as, if you can make a universe from your mind, anything is possible.

A child died, and then saw what he saw, stating he saw a grandfather he never knew, and told of a baby sister of his that died stillborn, when his parents never told him about it, even knowing her name.

I would look for the answer you seek by the indications found in nature.  Flowers are a beautiful part of nature.

My flower plant blooms periodically throughout the year.  The flowers emerge from buds, grow, mature, and wither and fall off.  There seems to be a breath of life during this process and then the breath of life of the flower ceases.  Even though the flower is still on the plant that is still alive. Then a few weeks later the cycle repeats.

Using this logic,  there is a source that is alive, the plant, and it gives energy to the flower for a limited duration, then stops.  Then refocuses the energy to the next cycle.

I think humans are similar.
