Moving to Bangkok from Pattaya - TM30

Featured Replies

My current immigration TM 30 was filed by my agent in Pattaya and is set to expire the first week of July.  The O extension itself runs until December, sometime.

Assuming I rent a new condo in Bangkok beginning June 1 or so, and that agent files a new TM30 for that location, am I right in assuming that resets the clock for my 90 day report, and that I can just forget about the report I'm supposed to do in Pattaya?

And can I further assume that when the O extension itself is due for renewal, I just handle the matter at Bangkok immigration?

Thanks

You still need to do a 90 day report. If you've got your TM30 done on arrival in Bangkok then it's possible it might work online. If not just pop along to Chaeng Watthana and do it in person.

OP, following on from upnotover post.... thinking the 90 report in person would be good idea and can clarify TM30.

You can make an appointment for TM47 at CW here:

Edit: OP, just notice that you use the word "agent".

Did you do the extension yourself and meeting financial requirements?

The 90 day report in Pattaya is due the first week of July, but if I move, it will be shortly after June 1.  Anyway, I don't have a problem filing a 90 day report in person in Bangkok, sometime after the TM30 is filed and well before the 90 day report is due in Pattaya.

I use an agent in Pattaya, simply because I'm lazy and they only charge me 100 baht. I have now and always have met the financial requirements.

So I just bring my lease and a copy of the TM30 to Bangkok for the 90 day report, sometime in June.  Correct?

Correct. Doesn't hurt to have copy of landlord ID card and bluebook.

You mentioned lease that would be good idea.

Regards appointment (advisable) you print out copy of appointment.

In the link I posted earlier scroll down to "queue online"

When you enter the immigration offices the 90 report desk is to far right.

The io will talk on phone to appointment desk and you will be seen straight away.

Not the lady issuing you ticket will want to see the TM47 fill in.

If you need photo or anything similar at CW that's located L1.

The actual offices are L2.

The joint is huge if you haven't been there previously
