I've had 4 emails from one domestic airline today telling me that due to "the re-emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak" they are "ready to take care of and be by the side of all passengers".  Not quite true, what they actually mean is that if you book their 2 most expensive ticket classes you can change your flight without fee.

 

Ker-ching!  It's reassuring to know they care.

Does a person need a medical qualification to know this is a surge of a new sub-variant? No. It's in the articles that's been on AN. Does a person need a medical qualification to know that exposure to viruses increases your immunity. Of course not. Does a person need a medical qualification to know that new dominant variants/sub-variants of SARS-CoV2 come, spread rapidly and eventually lose their dominance as they get replaced by another variant/subvariant. Of course not. One just needs a functioning brain and a modicum of intelligence. Ridiculous comment on your part.

Woman who cut my hair said she's been sick for days now. Cold, sore throat, cough. She wore a mask. Said she didn't go to the hospital just pharmacy to buy some cheap medicine.

I said, "covid".

Under 65 yrs old, and the risk was so low of fatality, if even hospitalized, when the worse of it was around.  Now, more likely to die from the flu if already on borrowed time ... IMHO
