Hi just moved back to his country

The most diverse place in Thailand is the Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Beautiful beaches, heh heh! Been coming 20 years but if I want beautiful beaches Pattaya is not the place. World class infrastructure, now this has to be a wind up. Put any event on in Pattaya and the whole place grinds to stop. Every time there's rain the place floods. Even on good days travel moves as " fast as an asthmatic ant, carrying some heavy shopping".

Recently got back from Danang that city has infrastructure not perfect by any means but in a different class to Pattaya and a much bigger city.

I would guess Pattaya, followed by Phuket.

Would have to be Krung Thep, with much more area & population than the rest of TH's area or cities, and offering everything every other area offers, with exception of swimming beaches or eve rolling hills.

For me - Chiang Mai. So much to do including extreme sports, trekking, also visiting spectacular scenic destinations with mountains, lakes and rivers.

Beaches and beer bars were of no interest to me.
