I blew through some cash this month. Patiently waiting for that next deposit. My little beach community was dead last night so both Thais and foreigners were staying home. The 7-11 was packed though.

I don't have a budget, I just spend. I don't have any house or car payments. Already spent the monthly money plus most of the cash I have squirreled away at home.

Please, no Go Fund Me Ok? I got a stack of USD's but rate is not good right now. Don't worry I'll survive.

So, who else is singing the blues.

Not me Mr Keel. I am intelligent enough to not spend more than I have available, and keep a track on my family's spending.

I have loads available. I'm just not used to limiting myself or the family. Don't think I've ever tracked my spending.

I look forward to the end of the month. I keep track of all my expenses, put them into a spreadsheet on the final day. When my cash kitty drops below 40K baht, I visit the bank for more, usually once every two months.

It's also the time I get paid interest on savings. Every six months, I get share dividends, also the occasional opportunistic trading gain.

In Australia, I spend more than I get in income. In Thailand, it's the reverse.

I was recently in the US for 5 weeks. Money flies when you stay in hotels and eat out.

Here's my Bank account number...........1346678509890-555

When I had my own hotel buisiness in UK in the 80s, I kept meticulous records of out in & outs, as required by the Taxman, and to keep the business afloat.

Sadly, or maybe fortunately that practice has stuck with me and I know where it all goes to this day, much to the annoyance of the Mrs, but we do OK, and I can show her how much she will get my my clogs need popping.

I thought this thread was going to be about the End of the Month song.

From when Jimmy Kimmel was funny.  And they could offend people on cable TV without fear of cancellation or worse.

Google John Valby lyrics if you missed it back when you were in college.

End of the month means invoice time for my online science teaching 🙂  This month (June 2025) is special because I will also start to receive my UK state pension some time near the end of the month, and then next month and then again...

Life is good....

so you blow out your money and have no problem.

What's the point of this post?

Will it make you feel better to read that others might be struggling more that you? Or do you just want to be a big shot to show all readers in what kind of fantastic situation you are?

Nuff said.

I know it's awful. I try not to keep company with low money losers like that.

I really don´t get it. What do you want with this thread? Just want everyone to know you are so loaded and can do what ever you want?

Just very pathetic!

One advantage of being poor is that I never have to worry about exchange rates. So what if it goes down a point or two? At the amount we spend each month, the difference only costs me a few dollars. Not even enough for a meal at Dukes.

As it says in the book, 'Own nothing and be owned by nothing.'

No, I am not grumpy at all. Have enough already, mate. No need to wait for any silly checks.

Now chill down. Go to the bank and cash your check, count the bahts and see how much fun you can have this month. 🤣🤣🤣

Mr Keel sounds bored & lonely. I didn't finish reading the OP. Non-sensical post looking for attention? Wide berth given next time.🙃🙃
