Isn't that part of the issue though, where is the border?The ICC and Cambodia say one place and Thailand says another. And according to Cambodia, Thailand has crossed that line.

I think they're picking on the wrong country, it is very likely that the truly urgent border areas are surrounding Burma, not Cambodia. This whole thing with Cambodia is truly making a mountain out of a molehill, it's truly a nothing burger, and perhaps it's a sign of the extreme level of desperation that the Army feels, due to their spectacular level of damage and irrelevance to society, and the massive amounts of treasury that they suck from the nation, without offering much in return. Are they even all that relevant in today's age? Perhaps, but certainly not at their current size and budget.

Looks like both checkpoints that the Bangkok visa run companies use are open every day. Just reduced hours 8am-4pm.
