Hello everyone. My question is petty above. Can I change my visa extension based on marriage to extension based on work without having to live the country? Im holding a work permit now due to my extensions based on marriage.

Change for what? Maybe because it's hard for you to show 400k as requirement for the marriage extension?

Confusing. If you are still married, you can of course work when on a marriage extension, so why the need for change. Unless you are no longer married and therefore not eligible for the marriage Ext anymore. Once you clarify this, others can give you more answers.

The answer to your question of no, you can't you switch from a yearly extension based on marriage to one based on employment inside the country, 😞

To do that, you'd cancel the extension you're on, exit the country, either get a non b from a nearby thai consulate or exit come back in free stamp (visa exempt) then apply for the 90 day Non-B at your immigration office

What is your reasoning behind doing that?

Unless you are about to get divorced, I would say stay on your yearly extension based on marriage and hold your work permit just like you are now...
