No worries for that any time soon. The MAGA moderators will see to it.

Yes I remember, I think people were moaning about the old emoji's causing work, would had been better to ignore the moaners

there is already so much rant/trolling and personal attacks that showing who gives what emojis would be kaos and personal vendetta would top the site, better stay incognito,  let people guess

I think it is great.  If one of my posts caused a negative emotional reaction I hope it ruined their day.  Too bad 555.

I would like to understand how the Popular Contributors on the right side of my browsers works.

I think prior to the thumbs down you got a point for any emoji on your posts. I believe a very unpopular member just posted thousands of post daily to be on the leader board. I believe the thumbs down takes away from the  Popular Contributors stats and that poster is no longer in the Popular Contributors.

If they do away with the thumbs down they should remove the Popular Contributors as well.

I think you are correct regarding your interpretation of how the Popular Contributors works.

The benefit of the thumbs down is that the poster you allude to, @Harrisfan, can no longer appear on the list by default due to the huge number of negative emoji's his posts attract. He therefore can no longer claim 'a win' (whatever that means) as he previously did.

This is reason enough to keep the thumbs down emoji.

Well, such stupid answer I expected from you. If you would be a man and brave enough you would explain your dictment.

You're not hated by any means...  You just have an approach to comments, discussions and opinions that differs from most...

If people truly hated you - they'd just put you on ignore....

But, it would also show 'who' is trolling certain people with such behavior.....

I often see perfectly legitimate posts from certain posters, which are balanced and insightful without any possible indication of conflict or reason to think negatively of the post.....  Yet some trolling twit will post a laughing emoji or a thumbs down emoji full in the knowledge that people (or the poster) with think...   "Huh !! ???... what on earth is that for"...

... There are those on this forum who take pleasure in trolling others - I think its better that everyone can see it is them who use these tools in such a juvenile manner...

I agree, those who hide behind their anonymity just encourages them to continue with this poor behaviour.

Even with those with whom I have strong disagreements....   often heated, vitriolic, venomous and highly argumentative debates...    At least they have the personality to put a name to and own their objection or accusations....

...  posting an 'anonymous' emoji is spineless...        IMO is also fair enough if someone objects to a post to post an emoji showing disagreement...   especially if they have already commented - there's no need for repetitive and circular debate then...

And weak

It says more about the button mashers, than it does about the post that they respond to.

What's your address? I've got a t-shirt to send you, it says "I love me, who do you love?" 🤣

Thanks mate 👍

Address it to 'Aussie guy with big Donga', (anaconda).

Deliver it to any bar in Soi 6, all the girls know me.

Every emoji should show his owners name otherwise just scrap them all.

I didn't give you a downvote, but your post is the reason we have them. Adding nothing to the topic, just using it as a reason to sling mud at a group you don't like.
