The high-value car, taken by a sophisticated international smuggling gang, had been spirited away to Thailand, where it was recovered eight years later.

On the ball then

Don't get how renting it out at £800 a day makes it a good business idea , especially in the UK with the weather. In somewhere like Miami yes but UK 🤔

If rented it out once a week for 5 years then it's paid for , but that is almost impossible business numbers in UK I would say.

Then add depreciation in value of the car and who is going to pay top money to rent a old model car when others have the latest model to rent .

Chicks dig guys in hot cars, even when it's raining.  Or, more accurately, chicks dig rides in hot cars, even if they couldn't give a rat about the guy driving.

Neither did they mention what happened to Boy Unity, except that he'd been arrested in 2022.  That could mean he's still in custody, or it could mean nothing.

He's a car dealer in Dubai now, just kidding

They slapped him with a 30yr jail sentence.

Here is the thread from 2023.

It wouldn't surprise me if they slapped him with a 30 year sentence in 2023 and he's a car dealer in Dubai in 2025.

I wonder how many Thai Govt Officials who were involved in the import and registration of this car have also been prosecuted alongside 'Boy Unity'.

I wonder how many UK Govt Officials who were involved in the theft and export of this car have also been prosecuted alongside 'Boy Unity'.

Actually a good story for once. Happy for the guy. Eight year older car, though.

The back story according to old mate down the pub was the insurance company wouldn't pay out on a renter being stolen.

I believe Ferrari Joe was linked to this car.

The real owners YouTube story aired several months ago is quite interesting

Must have been something like that. He says in vid they decided not to claim because they needed policies on the other 30 cars. Huh?? Sure the premiums might go up a bit but theft insurance is there to protect in case of, er, theft. Unless they weren't insuring for rental use, in which case anyone driving wouldn't be insured.

And then 'Mo' does some ducking and diving, rustles up a stack of cash which he can't bank for obvious reasons - but then then the local rozzers give him a bit of paper saying "we hereby declare this phat stack isn't POC"?? Makes no sense given that presumably the only explanation of where he got the money was "my mate sold some things here and there and gave it to me".

Amazing fee Discover the stolen car after eight years they still cannot find the Red Bull kid who is hiding in plain sight TIT

There was possibly an even chance he might have been behind the wheel of it…! 😜

I am guessing that there are tax advantages as he may have used it as a private car when he wasn't renting it out. If it was a private car, he would get no tax allowances for it.

Why, all of them of course
