Will there ever be a safe vaccine?

These shots helped my immune system to 'recognise' the Covid virus (all viruses have a different and recognisable shape/structure).

You say you are a scientist eh Simon. Yet you post absolute nonsense (above). I reckon you are just a chancer.

A virus is dead cell debris. It is inert. Does not, and cannot cause anything. If it has a role at all, it is probably to aid elimination of dead cells. It is only pathogenic in a computer.

As for you believing in the immune system, well I don't. I prefer to believe the body has a defence system. And part of that is a maintenance section, that is working 24/7/365, to keep us in good order. If we look after it, the body can self heal, eliminate undesirable entities and keep all aspects the body in good trim.

Until you do your whole post is meaningless at if it were true it would be posted on numerous trustworthy outlets.

Ask your fellow educated, science-abiding, high-IQ member @Lacessit if NEJM is a trustworthy outlet:

Of course there are less COVID cases now. Even in the ignorant USA, vaccine uptake rates are 70%. 95% in Australia.

Yes, those figures are correct and indicate that 70% of US citizens and 95% of Australian citizens did get 2 Covid-jabs and - at the time - were considered 'fully vaccinated'.

But current booster uptake - without the previous mandates or coercion - shows that trust in covid-vaccination has cratered.

Only ~14% of U.S. adults got the latest bivalent booster and just over 6% of Australians received a COVID booster in the last six months.

Proteins from deactivated virus particles are the actual component of most vaccines that prompts the human immune system to produce antibodies.  They often use those viral remains because they contain the exact proteins needed to 'educate' the immune system to recognize when the live virus enters the body.

Most vaccines do not create a mild infection.  They only stimulate an immune system response to the presence of foreign proteins and the likelihood of an actual infection is very low.  When people experience the immune response to the vaccine they often misinterpret it to be an infection.

The whole post is simply not rue. There is no evidence to support your assertions.

You can view the 15' video or read the transcript here

More bovine excrement for which we have come accustomed on this sub forum of the site.

The transcript contains numerous medical inaccuracies and misrepresentations of how vaccines and the immune system work.

The scientific consensus, supported by extensive research and real-world evidence, is that vaccines are both safe and effective. Vaccines do provide protection against infection (not just symptom reduction), undergo rigorous safety testing, and have dramatically reduced deaths from preventable diseases. The immune system mechanisms described in the transcript are oversimplified and often incorrect - for example, vaccines do stimulate both systemic and mucosal immunity, and the portrayal of how T-cells and B-cells function misrepresents established immunology.

Claims linking vaccines to autism, autoimmune diseases, and cancer are not supported by the scientific evidence. Major medical organizations worldwide, including the CDC, WHO, and medical academies, continue to recommend vaccination based on robust safety and efficacy data. While all medical interventions carry some risk, the benefits of vaccination far outweigh the risks for the vast majority of people.

Let’s be clear: Stillwagon isn’t a medical doctor—he’s a retired chiropractor pushing long-debunked anti-vaccine myths. He opposes all vaccines, including COVID ones, and misrepresents basic immunology (like calling lipid nanoparticles "viruses"). His views clash with everything we know from real science and global health success.
He’s not an expert, he’s not citing credible evidence, and this kind of misinformation is actively harmful—not harmless "free speech."
NB - Quoting fringe figures or blogs just because they “say what you want to believe” isn’t research—it’s confirmation bias

So you agree that your latest vaccine statements re  "Dr. Stanley Plotkin," do not exist except in your tin foil head!

Just create an NEJM account and read Dr. Stanley Plotkin's paper, which reveals the critical failings of vaccine safety studies. Or have a look at this summary below.

And as you are clearly a critical thinker, ask yourself why this paper is not covered by maintream media, taking into account the billions in fines the pharmaceutical industry has paid over the years for crimes ranging from misleading consumers to hiding data or influence peddling for their benefit.

As an Australian it is likely that the main reason for reduced uptake is that people see the high level threat has passed. You might think everyone is talking about risk of vaccines but it may be more in your bubble than you realise.

"The Facts:

The claim that Dr. Stanley Plotkin and his colleagues have admitted that vaccine safety is not properly studied is misleading and lacks context. The article doesn’t say vaccines aren’t studied for safety. Instead, it is a proposal to use surplus funds from the vaccine excise tax, which are not currently being used and as intended by the initial law to improve the detection, investigation, and prevention of vaccine adverse events after a vaccine is approved to enhance the current vaccine safety system.

Dr. Dan Salmon, the article’s primary author, says, “Mr. Siri is not portraying our NEJM article accurately. Available vaccines are highly safe and effective for the vast majority of people. Post-licensure studies exist abundantly to show vaccines are very safe and effective.”

The mainstream media in Australia and elsewhere are still continually scare-mongering about 'the latest much more virulent strains that pose lethal risks'.  But the majority of Australians have wised up and will not be conned so easily anymore, and that's one of the main reason behind the 'catastrophical' nosedive of covid-vaccine/boosters uptake (from 95% due to mandates and coercion 3.5 years ago, to a mere 6% now).

Another expression is trucidare, which means to butcher. Which is what you have just done with the language.

That line is a giant red flag. It’s a tired cliché often used by anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists to prop up dodgy science. If a paper has real merit, it stands up to peer review—not just YouTube comments. The phrase is just a classic deflection. It’s not censorship—it’s usually because the "study" is low-quality, unreviewed, or outright bunk. Real science gets traction through evidence, not echo chambers.

Scientific data is increasingly indicating that the Covid shots actually impair the immune system. This should be of interest to you:

A new study titled, Post-vaccination IgG4 and IgG2 class switch associates with increased risk of SARS-CoV-2 infections, marks the seventh study to show an increased risk of infection after mRNA injection while also revealing the likely underlying mechanism behind this phenomenon

[…]

These findings suggest a potential association between IgG4 induction by mRNA vaccination and a higher risk of breakthrough infection, warranting further investigation into vaccination strategies to ensure sustained protection.

Irrelevant for me - I had Astra Zenica vaccine donated to Laos - that vaccine uses an adenovirus vector
