Will there ever be a safe vaccine?

You say you are a scientist eh Simon. Yet you post absolute nonsense (above). I reckon you are just a chancer.

A virus is dead cell debris. It is inert. Does not, and cannot cause anything. If it has a role at all, it is probably to aid elimination of dead cells. It is only pathogenic in a computer.

As for you believing in the immune system, well I don't. I prefer to believe the body has a defence system. And part of that is a maintenance section, that is working 24/7/365, to keep us in good order. If we look after it, the body can self heal, eliminate undesirable entities and keep all aspects the body in good trim.

A virus is dead cell debris??!!  Go back to school!  A virus is not and never was a living organism.  It is a pathogen that 'hides' in living cells and replicates when the cell replicates.

If you don't think viruses make you sick here is a link to a site that explains it. It's from a company called Pfizer. No need for thanks.

Is that the same Pfizer which was fined $2.3 billion for marketing a drug with the intent to deceive and mislead the public? Just checking as it is my understanding we are into "reliable sources" on this forum.

Yes. There are dozens if not hundreds. The poster should grow up and stop using this forum for anti-vax conspiracy  theories. It's not just childish; it's actually dangerous.

...and there you have it! "Ask yourself why this paper isn’t covered by the mainstream media…”
That line is a giant red flag. It’s a tired cliché often used by anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists to prop up dodgy science. If a paper has real merit, it stands up to peer review—not just YouTube comments. The phrase is just a classic deflection. It’s not censorship—it’s usually because the "study" is low-quality, unreviewed, or outright bunk. Real science gets traction through evidence, not echo chambers.

The paper is from NEJM, which a prominent pro-vaxxer of this forum has cited as a quality, reliable source in this very thread. If you guys actually put your money where your mouths are, you would read and assess it dispassionately, instead of coming up with increasingly convoluted (and quite frankly, amusing) reasons to preemptively dismiss it.

As for media coverage (or lack thereof), you should definitely be asking yourself these critical questions. I'll let the Secretary of Health and Human Services explain it to you. Oh but wait, he's 'insane', isn't he? Can't watch that then, can we? Let's stick to typing "Are vaccines safe?" on Grok!

"All the major institutions of our society have been captured by the (medical) industry.

[…]

They advertise because they wanna control the content. If you look at Anderson Cooper or Lester Holt or Jake Tapper, their paycheck is being paid by the network but their salaries are actually coming from pharmaceutical companies, and they know that.

And they know that they've got to toe the line and they've got the frighten us about infectious diseases. They've got to make us all comply with the pharmaceutical mandates, and they're not giving us real news. They're not asking the questions that they ought to be asking. There's no skepticism.

And if you look at these new shows, like twenty years ago, they were saying, yeah, there are problems with vaccines or these other drugs.

They will never do that today."

I have lost count of the "Dr. Kevin Stillwagon says..." threads. Surely the mods could put a stop to the regurgitation.

I'm torn between a horsewhip and a lobotomy for people who deliberately spread misinformation.

Approx 1 in 10.000 of all vaccines administered worldwide are 'therapeutic', i.e. meant to treat the symptoms of a disease after it manifested already.  And those approved treatment vaccines are mainly for treating cancers, while experimental and clinical trials are ongoing for other diseases.  The success rate of the approved treatment vaccines is - unsurprisingly - quite low in spite of the billions of $ spend on research in that area.  On reading dr Stillwagon's article you will also understand why.

Also, when people are sick and receive medicine/treatment that cures them they can speak from personal experience.  But it always strikes me that the majority of people that roll up their sleeve for a so-called 'preventive' vaccine (and that's 99,99 % of all vaccines administered) are totally convinced of their beneficial effect.  Big Pharma propaganda has done an amazing job in firmly installing that belief in people, even to such an extent that when the jabbees do get the disease that the vaccine claims to prevent that they then sing to the tune of 'it would have been worse, had I not gotten the shots'.

Covid-19 being a case in point, with many multi-jabbed people getting Covid every time after their 'protective' booster-jab.  And they are still defending that harmful, ineffective and totally unnecessary practice against the stupid 'anti-vaxxers' that are not part of the jabbee cult.

See a shrink. 😱

A chiropractor?!!  :coffee1:     Why is it always Chiropractors?

It's very common for personality traits to closely correlate to their chosen profession.  It may be that chiropractors tend to overestimate the breadth and applicability of their knowledge and consequently stray out of their lane.

Wikipedia's definition of chiropractic medicine describes it as based on pseudoscience.  That may be a bit harsh.

You'll find a lot of chiropractors on YTube making videos on subjects that are in areas of knowledge that are outside of what they normally study.

Hopefully, Red's posts will allow some discussion on the subject.

Hopefully, it will encourage AN members, and guests, to do some research, before blindly supporting the MSM line.

Hopefully it will lead to better formed medical choices for themselves and their children.

The mainstream media in Australia and elsewhere are still continually scare-mongering about 'the latest much more virulent strains that pose lethal risks'.  But the majority of Australians have wised up and will not be conned so easily anymore, and that's one of the main reason behind the 'catastrophical' nosedive of covid-vaccine/boosters uptake (from 95% due to mandates and coercion 3.5 years ago, to a mere 6% now).

Utter nonsense. The decline in booster uptake is more accurately explained by the transition from pandemic emergency to endemic management, changed risk-benefit calculations, and normal patterns seen with non-mandatory adult vaccinations, rather than widespread rejection of vaccination based on distrust and conspiracy theorists like yourself.

So no need to follow the science and get the recommended boosters?

I’d bet that most people who have declined further clot shots have never even heard of the concept of a risk benefit analysis (or the word endemic) and are more likely thinking…

“eff that…..I took their shots and still got sick as a dog!”

Of course, the science told us healthy kids were dying of Covid 😅

Time to break out the Covid poster children.

you could probably say... "I've never seen evidence that your post is true" and be correct.

But, since you have not seen much less understood ALL evidence, you cannot claim there is none.... obvious serious logic error, that one.  Or... do you really claim to have seen and understood ALL evidence?  That would mean we are in the presence of a god like spirit.  I'd be so happy to wager on the NO side of that being true.

And I guess I'm living proof that vaccines work, or either that, I'm posting this from beyond the grave........

In light of this thread I decided to count the number of vaccinations I've had in my lifetime and I was surprised at the number, and here they are: –

– Smallpox

– Tuberculosis

– Hepatitis A

– Hepatitis B

– Diphtheria

– Whooping cough

– Polio (vaccination before the oral version became available)

– Measles/mumps/rubella (three vaccinations given as one)

– Yellow fever

– Immuno globulin (a requirement before being able to work in Nigeria)

– Tetanus (about four injections over the years)

– Covid 19 (three whilst here in Thailand)

So, around 19 vaccinations/injections in my lifetime and I'm still here and vehemently believe in them, especially after my experiences with a couple of friends who contracted polio before the vaccinations became available.

Luckily I've got the majority of the anti-VAX brigade on "ignore" but there are probably a couple more to go and my post will most likely bring them out!

Oh, and by the way I'm not posting this from beyond the grave, just so you know!

I've only had 7, and am now 70 and still alive.

Whooping cough, polio, yellow fever, tetanus 2x, COVID 2x

I no longer believe in any of them, and wish I'd abstained from both COVID and tetanus.

The extra 12 you've had, don't appear to given you any extra benefits over my 7 as we're both still alive.

Can't say that, as my comparison only show 12 to have been completely ineffective.

If X's 12 had made a difference, I should have caught some of them.

Would also point out my nether regions also still working, so maybe some of X's 12 actually harmed him?

And I stopped having tetanus vaccines in my early 30s, so 40 years with no vaccine and no catching the disease.

Show the evidence then Sir. Many have looked, as have I, no luck yet.

I think it is your logic that is twisted. There have been various claims without any evidence. Show us yer cards.

Ignore! Why? Would you not like to discuss the points in question, and assess the situations?

Surely medical science can be questioned. Or is it that set in stone that it can't be spoken of!

Heard it so many times on MSM down the years; 'The science is settled'.

34 minutes ago, BritManToo said:

Tetanus is the interesting one, bacteria is common in soil and animal poop, infecting the smallest break in skin.

So I spend every day gardening and touching rabbit poop. Hands and arms always getting cut and scratched from plants, teeth and claws. I don't even bother cleaning any wounds, just wipe the blood off with tissue.

Why aren't I dead?

Is it like allergies, only some people at risk?

Does it only affect people with damaged immune systems?

Is the bacteria not that prevalent?

How does science explain why I haven't died from tetanus?

So you have never been vaccinated for typhoid, hepatitis, shingles or pneumonia?

Life in your 70's could get really interesting.

So now you can see why I have got BM2 on ignore, because he doesn't have a clue, and for the record I do have a neurogenic bladder, most likely caused by a bladder neck incision I had around five or six years ago and nothing to do with any vaccinations. What a plonker.
