I'm needing to extend my 1 year Non Imm O Visa (based on Marriage) for 2 months. I've Never done it before so I'm eligible to get it on my current visa. As I understand your able to get one only 1 time per visa. What documents do I need? Visa Extension form, passport and passport photos? Anything else? How much does it cost? Thanks for any info!

You need almost everything needed for the year marriage extension EXCEPT the proof of funds
Copies of

  • data page of your passport
  • PDF of the Non-O visa
  • entry stamp
  • TM30 showing you're registered as staying in an area served by the office you're using
  • thai wife's i/d,
  • thai wife's house book listing
  • Kor Ror 2 & 3 <the two marriage documents you got if you were married in thailand

Filled out TM7 application for extension

Might need a map to your place, lease, house book of the owner but all that is immigration office dependent

Make sure you don't say you want a 60 day extension based on marriage to a thai 😮 because there is no 'marriage extension' for 60 days 😕

It's specifically written as "visit thai family"

Here's the thai/english of the clause the extension is issued under

OP, you have correct advice in posts above.

From memory you deal with Rayong.

You won't have an issue however good to run it past them.

Your multi entry Non O is still valid?

Did you consider a border bounce prior to visa expiry.

I'm on the one year extensions again. My extension is due on Aug 5 2025. I leave to Canada for a month returning Aug 2nd. I'm not sure they will accept my extension application a day before my visa expires. Or will they? I'll have to go to Rayong immigration and see. The easiest thing to do is just extend it for 2 months then apply for my extension then. I have everything I need for my extension but just not sure how immigration will feel about it if I come in a day before it expires. It's kind of bad planning on my behalf. I booked my trip without thinking about when my extension is due.

You don't have a visa, you have a permission of stay.

Yes you can apply for another 12 month extension up till day of expiry.

So that's an option.

I was confused with current status due to previous thread of ME Non O in 2024.

BTW excellent report however that option now off the table.

You can apply for the 60 day extension as per your plan.

You would need to apply for reentry permit after 60 day extension approval.
