  • Don’t mind the heat at all, staying hydrated and active helps with maintaining acclimation. Personally believe staying indoors with the a/c on all the time doesn’t help with the tolerance.

The more you use aircon, the less time you spend outside, the sweatier you get. No, I don't have that problem, it's 30c and I'm sitting on the sofa, windows and doors open. Already cycled 8K

  • Love the heat, its great.

We are moving here in preference to Spain for the heat. With Raynaud’s disease we both find it harder to cope with the cold. So would rather cope with the heat in Thailand.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Spain is an option.

We went around Spain/Portugal with our Motorhome during Covid.

I reckon the North would suit you. The area around Gijon has a lot to offer, also fresh Fish, Wine, chorizo and cakes.

The winters are mild and summers mixed

my bills are, on average, 6-8K per month.

i've been told a 10Kw solar system would save me approx 4.5K pm at a cost of approx 425K to install.....

Yes, that's what make us using Aircon.

If I live another 10 years it would costs around 600k for 20 kWh, that's 60.000 per year or 5000 per month. My bill using Aircon is around 3500.

So no need for any installation unless the Thai govt would give subsidies or AI will make it cheaper.
