Despite safety concerns, the maintenance budget stays stagnant at 950 million baht, far from sufficient for necessary repairs and upgrades.

So the answer is more money for Graft? 🤔

I often get police/military planes flying over our farm in Korat.

Always makes me cringe/look for cover. Always flying really low altitude, I half expect them to drop out of the sky or crash as some clueless General tries to show off to his gig.

Every time an aircraft goes through maintenance, its first flight afterwards needs to have someone in the chain of graft on board.

Or maybe not as they should all be in jail.  It's can't be too hard to follow the money.

Not sure what the big deal is, It's only Graft, everyone is doing it. Those who aren't are just jealous they didn't get their share, corruption is embraced in Thailand, it's not like it's a secret. All the way from the top position of government, all the way to poorest person in the village,  corruption is a highly sought after profession.

The tragic incidents involved two crashes earlier this year. On April 25, a Royal Thai Police aircraft went down near Phetchaburi, claiming six lives.

Another accident followed about a month later, with a Bell-212 helicopter crashing in Prachuap Khiri Khan, killing three officers.

This is why they need western supervision in maintenance, the corrupt can't be trusted.

So sad, poor families, now without their loved ones.

One more sad Hub.

The Hub of graft.

Hope some people go to jail in the end for this.
