I think most people can empathise, but that doesn't mean that that person's rights suddenly become more important than anyone else's.

 

It's funny how people like Jingthing claim to be trying to help people, they try to pretend that they actually care, but they clearly don't care about anyone other than those on their team.  They want their group to get what they want.  They don't actually care about people.  It's sad.

I don't know about Saudi but Iran is one of the leading countries internationally for gender affirming surgery. Bizarrely, they don't accept gay people but they do pressude gay people to change their gender in all cases, when cisgender gay people are not the same thing as transgender people by any stretch of the imagination.

Just goes to show you how important CULTURE is around such issues as gender identity and sexual orientation.
