Well, he seemed pretty shaken up  and worse for wear.

 

From the video it is very clear at least one of the attackers had Muay Thai training.

 

They probably went easy on him, as they didn't want to kill him, just teach him a little lesson.

Pattaya isn't what it used to be. I wouldn't go out at night there. The bar girls are thieves, and the bars seem unsafe places to go to.  If you upset a bar girl in a bar or have a disagreement with the staff, you'll be beaten up. This is the norm nowadays. Good luck, tourists! Indeed, I wonder what the hotel occupancy is like nowadays.

If a Thai girl argues with you in public, even if she physically attacks you, you walk away. You don't engage.

I think the feet is considered the dirtiest part of the body in Thai culture.  So they like it to use to show superiority over others. That is a very humiliating situation. If someone did that to me, for sure I would find the assh*les and justice be done.

You do realize that reports like this travel around the world on sites that no Thais are members of.  Tourists looking to spend money on holidays look there for advice and reviews. But it’s OK Thailand as long as your visitor numbers are high and they are spending lots of money no need to worry about your incomes!!!

Nope, random is just not likely.  Video is pretty clear, it won't take much to catch the gang. Definitely a bad transaction. Mild from he insulted her to major in he didn't pay. Almost looks like they didn't go anywhere. but would be good to see the start.

Indeed the girl can perhaps not control her emotions and go mental at you.

 

However, it is clear from how you react if you are a threat to the girl or not, even if she attracts attention.

 

Here, clearly the Swede reacted in an aggressive manner. Unable to control his emotions just like the girl who serviced him.

Great job. First video is after the attack, but second video is BEFORE the attack and clearly shows the Swede got physical with the girl and pushed her to the floor.

 

So I was right,  the Swede was physically violent towards the girl.

 

She then kept attacking him and he probably got even more violent, sadly the video cuts off.

 

Anyway, very clear the Swede pushed the girl to the floor, very obviously excessive violence.
