Do holders of the LTR (10 year) visa get asked to show evidence of TM30? Ever? Maybe during the 1 year reporting? Thanks in advance. It is my first time. 

TM30 was requested when I transferred my LTR visa to a new passport. Haven't done yearly report yet.

This is on the LTR official facebook page about the requirements for one year reporting 

There is no mention about TM30, and remember LTR office is not at Cham Churi Square any more it moved to the One Bangkok Building 

 

Only when I applied for the letter to get my drivers license.

Yes, I've needed a TM30 for each of the following:

 

Transferring LTR visa to new passport

Certificates of Residence for all the following:  getting a new international drivers license, buying a car, selling a car

Yes, and that needs special mention. I went to One Bangkok Building the day before my appointment just to make sure I knew where to go. Smart move. Apparently, the specific building in the One Bangkok complex does not allow access to Immigration from any elevator. Only the elevator behind Starbucks on the 5th floor will get you there. No mention of this on the website.

 

Also beware: If you have a morning appointment before the "shopping mall" is open, all entry accesses will be closed. You will need to enter through the employee access on a ground floor, then bounce around between elevators to get you there. I was lost and asked the cleaning staff who kindly grabbed my hand and led me there.

Mind boggles... 

I did my 2nd 1 year report last month. They did not ask me for a TM30. Bring the documents listed on the BOI website for 1 year reports.
