A 2 and 3 will get you the same long term visa as a 5+.

 

Some of the guys here married a Thai bird for visa purposes. 

The guys under 50 year old who wanted to stay in Thailand long term, married the first chick they came across. 

Also the married guys over 50 years old only required to have 400k baht not the 800k baht in the bank
