Crime Indian Man Arrested for Fake 90,000 Baht Payment in Pattaya
. Pictures courtesy of Matichon. Police have arrested a 29-year-old Indian national for attempting to pay for food and drinks with a forged bank transfer slip at a well-known pub on Walking Street. Pol. Col. Anek Sathongyoo, Chief of Pattaya City Police Station, ordered Pol. Lt. Col. Arut Sathanon, Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Division, to lead a joint operation with tourism police to apprehend Mr. Gurubakshish Singh Kohli. The arrest was made at a hotel in South Pattaya, under a warrant issued by Pattaya Provincial Court (No. 456/2568 dated 7 August 2025). Mr. Kohli faces charges of forging official documents, using forged documents and ordering food and beverages knowing he could not pay for them. Authorities tracked the suspect to the hotel and brought him in for questioning at Pattaya City Police Station. During interrogation, he admitted to being the person named in the arrest warrant. The investigation revealed that the suspect visited a popular Indian pub on Walking Street and, upon receiving a bill of approximately 90,000 baht for food and drinks, presented a fake bank transfer slip claiming he had already paid. However, when the pub staff checked their bank account, no such payment had been received, prompting them to file a complaint. Pol. Col. Anek stated that although the suspect claimed this was his first offence, the police remain cautious. He urged local business operators to report any similar suspicious behaviour or possible encounters with the same individual to Pattaya City Police Station at any time to help prevent repeated offences and aid further investigations. The suspect is currently undergoing further questioning and will face formal charges before prosecution. Adapted by Asean Now from Matichon 2025-08-10 -

Gunman in Deadly C.D.C. Shooting Fixated on Covid Vaccine
It wasn't COVID anti-vax misinformation. It was his vaccine injury and the lack of compassion and meaningful compensation that set the guy off. I understand his frustration. It was 2 years after my vaccine injury (the day after my 2nd Pfizer) before the hospital even admitted that mine was a commonly reported side effect. Before that, they said they didn't know what caused it, but claimed it definitely wasn't the "safe and effectives". I'm so glad to see the squelched studies finally making it into the light of day. -

UK Pensions Query
You say that exits at airports are now automatically recorded. If that is the case then it must have changed only in recent years. I know for a fact that it was not always the case.
