Dream on... there may be a lull, but the hate and contempt between the two sides is too strong, as it's religious nutjob stuff. There will be a final reckoning in the future between these two... just a matter of when and who is involved.

Sure.

Create one big Palestinian state in place of Israel.

Israeli government and armed forces completely disbanded.

Any Israeli passport holders are offered new lives in Western countries if they so wish.

All Israeli military hardware is sold to fund it.

Democratic elections with UN troops on the ground.

Timeframe: 10 years.

No, sadly, I: think that ship has sailed for Israel a long time ago. With the new attacks on Iran, there will be a new generation of terrorists waiting for Israelis.

There are many Iranians who support Israel's attack on the Iranian regime .

They want the regime removed as well

This is the most ridiculous post I've ever read on this site.

For whatever reason they always have conflicts.

And even with each other.

Not really.  Israel came along and took land from Palestine.  Palestine has been "fighting back" ever since, while Israel has continued to steal more and more land, killing and maiming Palestinian men, women and children as they go.

The Jewish Temple of David in Jerusalem is 3500 years old .

Jews built the Temple in Judea/ Israel 3500 years ago

There are Khmer ruins in Thailand.  Does that mean that Cambodia owns Thailand?

   False equivalence

Modern day  Thailand was part of Khmer

How so?  You used there being a Jewish building being in what was at the time Palestine as an excuse for the Israelis to take over.  Why isn't a Khmer building in Thailand an excuse for the Cambodians to take over?

   Because Thais were Khmers

Well, we all originated from Africa. Maybe the Israelis want to occupy all of Africa too?

Should the descendants of the pre-Clovis people claim all of the USA?

Surely you can see how insane this argument is? The world had moved on a bit in 1947. Just a bit.

So, why do Palestinians have a claim to the land of Israel ?

I suppose they are seen as the rightful owners of the land, because they mostly occupied it at the time of the influx of Zionists in the late 40s. When the British made such a royal mess of the mandate, clearly it was the Palestinians who were the majority population there. Hence, people view them as the rightful owners, with Zionists buying up and  stealing land by stealth afterwards. Even to this day the land grab continues, so it's hard not to see the Palestinians as the rightful owners when even now the Israelis are taking the land from them.

All the more reason for Thailand to belong to the Cambodians then.  (Ignoring the fact that what you said is untrue, for now.)

Exactly. Keep on beating them till they quit. Thats all they understand. Now that Iran is folding, the money will dry up.

Is Peace Possible

No.  There are not profits in peace which is why the US and their allies engage in forever wars.

Of course it’s possible. There’s just no will for it.

“Gaza remains the main obstacle to a regional peace deal,” Saudi journalist-researcher Abdulaziz Alkhamis told The Jerusalem Post after a rare Knesset conference this week.

The words were as direct as the setting was unusual: a Saudi voice, joined by a Syrian peace activist, urging Israeli lawmakers to seize a moment that will not last.

Alkhamis, who has been involved in discreet discussions about Gaza’s future and Saudi-Israeli normalization, said the war in the Gaza Strip must end “with a full solution that involves the entire region, including Iran and Turkey.”

Israel must act now and end Gaza war or lose Arab support for peace

Yes, that is exactly what is needed: for Palestinians and all other Arabs to recognize Israel's right to exist as the homeland of the world's Jews.  One that's done, the details can be worked out through negotiation.  Lasting peace is impossible when Hamas has as its goal the annihilation of Israel.   I went into detail about that in a different thread:

This is the (in)famous "Rocks and Trees Hadith" which is an explicit call for genocide against Jews.  It is widely used in Muslim sermons and cited by Muslim scholars as justification for attacks on Jews.  You can see some examples  in the video clip below.  The last guy says it pretty clearly: "We will fight them, we will defeat them, and we will annihilate them. Not a single Jew will remain on the face of the Earth."  That's what Israelis have been up against each and every day since 1948.

But maybe you prefer to believe the media commentators who keep telling us, "Islam is a religion of peace."

You can get more background on the "Rocks and Trees Hadith" and its use in Islamic teachings from this article:

https://jewishchronicle.timesofisrael.com/there-is-a-jew-hiding-behind-me-come-and-kill-him/

A Web site named "Where Do We Stand?"  gives "Perspectives on Obstacles to Peace in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict."  It has contributions from both  pro- and anti-Israel commentators and analysts.  https://wheredowestand.org/

My favorite contributor is Alan Dershowitz. https://wheredowestand.org/alandershowitz/

He has a long and thorough analysis of what's necessary for peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

No. They want to murder all Jews no matter where they might be. Their Socialist backers do too. Its been said directly or implied even here many times.
