I'll live with the same rules.  And as a bonus, I won't need to pay for an extra storage shed to keep all my imported crap that I upgrade from.  I'll just have to get by with the 65 incher.

So you consider it a bonus that because of Trump's tariffs, you will be limited in what you can enjoy?

That must be a warped MAGA mind you have.

Nothing that this circus clown does should shock anyone anymore, at this point, he has no idea what he is doing, he is undermining America credibility to such a spectacular degree, and he's making America less relevant by the day.

Mark my words, nations are going to continue workarounds, BRICS is going to get larger and more powerful, and now represents more than half the world's population, and the US will become a significantly less relevant under this goombah.

And as an American I will be able to say I'm happy about that, I think American foreign policy has been horrific for decades now. I think the overreach has been stunning and I think the fake morality has been inane, and I do believe that the planet is very tired of it at this point, especially with this guy and his daily ridiculousness and his very uninformed arrogance.

For Europe, the question is not simply whether the US remains a powerful ally but whether it is still the right one. A closer relationship with China now offers distinct advantages – an idea likely to be discussed at the EU-China summit in July. While European attitudes towards China remain cautious, as demonstrated by recent tariffs targeting low-cost imports from platforms like Temu and Shein, Europe’s strategic reflex still defaults to the US, especially in finance and defence. That reflex, born of history, is increasingly out of step with Europe’s long-term interests.

The US has long pursued a consistent global aim: to preserve its position as the world’s sole superpower. But under President Trump, US global leadership has taken a darker turn.

Basic democratic principles are being eroded.

Human rights, academic freedom and social justice have come under sustained assault.

From unconditional support for Israel’s devastating assault on Gaza – widely condemned as a genocide – to greenlighting a newly launched war on Iran, mass deportations and the dismantling of university funding, Trump’s United States is actively undermining the values it once claimed to champion.

Same issue for Europe. Trump moans not many USA cars are sold in Europe. But the cars that the USA make aren’t attractive for Europeans.

If they have the right car, they will sell. One reason why Tesla has done quite well in European markets. The product suits the legal requirements and consumer tastes.

I'm was a democrat after Obama I switch but not to a Republican, I sat out the first Trump election because I didn't request my ballot in time. After leaving the party what the Demos put up was clear to me Biden didn't have it all there, the second time with Biden or Harris there was no doubt in my mind the same with all these tariff.  It is a insult to know that the Demo, party did a dis-service to our nation by basically pulling a coup on the American people to elect Biden. Never the less I respect the office and the process and put up with the B.S and lies for 4 years.

I don't follow Trump I don't need to wear some stupid hat what I consider is what his plan and policy are going to be and I have no problems with them.

When I talk politics with friends never with family I ask what you don't like the first word " Trump "  never once have I ever heard anything about the policy it is always Trump!

When it comes to Tariffs, as a Demo, in 1995, I heard my representative Nancy Pelosi, gave an hour speech in Congress asking members not to allow China into the WTO, particularly giving them most favorable trade nation which today they still have the 2nd if not 1st world economy leader! What is happening for decades and what the problem is today is what every President wanted but not one talks about that it is Trump as if any of this is new to us!

You talk about follow, it is funny yet so many follow the hate if it is actually Red, the other side follow and claim it to be Blue. It is just crazy!

I recently did some research about a company i believe it was Walmart, who claims the tariff they will have to raise prices on the consumers it was state that these tariff the plan hopefully temporary and that countries would just lower them to be FAIR!  there would be some discomfort during that period hopefully short that with the profit of some of these companies make that they can absorb the tariff to support their country.  My research showed Walmart family is one of the richest family in the world their NET PROFIT 2024, was 19 BILLION!

Look at the profit of Apple, Amazon, do people really think they can't deal with a bit of lost so to support the country who gives them the freedom to succeed and profit.

I don't expect, everything to be even with these tariff but come on people when Thailand puts 30-40% on our products and barely any on theirs?  Do I expect manufacture to return to U.S. because of these Tariff even Trump when he isn't shooting off his big mouth knows much is gone due to the Greed of companies and that greed isn't just American companies but as a nation there is much truth to bringing back stuff to protect our nation so we don't have all our eggs in one basket. This goal is what every country wants in the world they want to protect themselves which is why we are here bashing all they got to do is look in the mirror the problem isn't just America, of course the favor it is TRUMP TRUMP!  WHAT i SAY IS F TRUMP WHOEVER IS PRESIDENT BRING THE TARIFF ON!🤑

Cipploa and John Stuart Mill help explain why, see Rule #3 and Rule #4 explains why you struggle to understand

These are Cipolla's five fundamental laws of stupidity:

1. Always and inevitably, everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.

2. The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.

3. A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.

4. Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular, non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places, and under any circumstances, to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.

5. A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

Trump knows that most of the Thai products, clothes etc are made in China and just relabeled in Thailand.  Or made in Thailand by Chinese factories with Chinese labor.  A lot of clothes come from China already labeled "Made in Thailand".  I have known this for years.  I have personally seen these "Thai factories".

And the US deserves Trump !

Yes, we do, because that's what we voted for! 70+% of the population saw the waste, fraud and abuse being perpetuated by the liberal Democrats in our government. They saw the pandering to the EU and other countries before addressing the concerns of US citizens. So, the people spoke, Trump heard, and he is governing the USA for the benefits of Americans, not the world. Now, I truly believe, once America is back on solid footing, he probably will be more gracious to other countries and try and help them. However, before he does that, he's going to right our government and get the US on a steady course. Don't let your Kumbaya emotions and <removed> get the best of you, sit back, enjoy your retirement, or whatever you're doing in Thailand, and watch. A ship's path doesn't turn on a dime, but PDJT has directed the US ship to be aggressive in maneuvering as much as possible.

Price of rice will go up affecting poor people, shameful

  • Popular Post

I am not a trump supporter and I am not american. BUT I have to say Thailand fully deserves it all the way. The average import duties the US was charging Thailand was 0% to 6.5%. Thailand proposal was a promise to buy more liquid gas and other things to balance the trade deficit in 7 years. They were looking to kick the can down the road and not deal with it as thais normally do. I really hope the EU takes notice and do the same with Thailand. Enough of 1-way treatment.  Now I feel a bit better about paying 200% more than Thais when I visit their parks.

It was clearly a big mistake for Thailand to align itself with BRICS

However, I am really disappointed with all the countries negotiating with Trump. There is only one way to deal with a bully, and that is to fight back and give him a bloody nose.  Playing his game means he wins.

It's all business.

Cambodia and Thailand: 36%

Cambodia and Thailand, united they stand, at least when it comes to being at the receiving end of King Donald's fury.

What a misleading headline.  Trump had said months ago he was going to impose tariffs.  He even proposed what these tariffs would look like.  Now it is possible that they might be implemented.  Wait and see as it might just happen or possibly at a lower tariff rate.

This is the reply from the smartest and most articulate man in the world when asked about the 90 deals in 90 days that he promised.

“Oh, we’ve spoken to everybody. We know every. It’s all done. I told you. I told you we’ll make some deals, but for the most part we’re gonna send a letter. We’re gonna say, ‘Welcome to the United States. If you’d like to participate in the greatest, most successful country ever.’ I mean, we’re doing better than ever. We have. I don’t think. And you’re gonna see these numbers soon. We’ve never had numbers like this. We’ve never had investment like this. Uh, we have more than 90. We’re gonna have much more than 90. But most of those are gonna be sent a letter. This is exactly what I said. Now, we’ve made a deal with United Kingdom. We’ve made a deal with China. We’ve made a deal. We’re close to making a deal with India. Others, we’ve met with, and we don’t think we’re gonna be able to make a deal. So, we just send them a letter. ‘Do you wanna, do you wanna play ball? This is what you have to pay.’ So, we’re, as far as I’m concerned, we’re done. We’re sending out letters to various countries, telling them how much tariffs they have to pay. Some will maybe adjust a little bit depending if they have a, you know, cause. We’re not gonna be unfair about it. And actually, it’s a small fraction compared to what we should be getting. We should be. We could be asking for much more. But for the sake of relationships that we’ve had with a lot of really good countries, we’re doing the way I do it. But we could be getting a lot more. We could ask for a lot more than what we’re asking for.”

America is sure in good hands.
