I don't think that's it. Whilst yes, a first unsuccessful rel with a Thai can be a factor, I think the main reason is that farang are more interesting to many Thai girls, they look more attractive and are seen as easier to get along with. And yes, having more money.

 

Usually, a Thai girl will ride the farang c0ck carousel and after a string of disappointments will then lower her standards for a Thai provider.

It all boils down to how they were treated by locals and what kind of future they dream about having. Besides hi-so's, locals are mostly poor, and foreigners still have more in the financials than the average local, so that's the attraction. A Thai girl that says she only wants a farang has either been hurt by locals and or is again looking for a likely better future. Otherwise it's attraction, and that can be anyone because it isn't a choice.

 

You and I aren't any more attractive to local women than Thai men are. I personally think Thai women are among the most beautiful on earth, but I also see Blacks, Latinas, Europeans, Japanese, Hawaiians and Muslims as very appealing, and wouldn't have any problem being with any of them as a partner. That means American girls also, as all are from all nationalities. People relate best to their own kind, no matter the situation. A bad history with your nationality can turn you away, but if you had a good history with them, you would still go by attraction first.

Imagination is good, as is knowledge. Knowledge gives you more valid data. Feelings change like the weather, just as a person with depression can fall out of love and get angry in a minutes time, and do things they normally wouldn't do otherwise. Everyone thinks they're way of thinking is right, even though some of that thinking leads to wars, murder, theft, addictions, unsafe behavior, suicide, and everything else that has gone wrong since time began. Nothing replaces hard evidence, and that comes from reading books written by people who have done the learning and studies, along with personal lessons from the same, added to personal experience.

Beauty comes from genetics. Character comes from environment , mostly from ages 0-5. Entitlement has some thinking they deserve more. You only deserve what you work for, and how you treat others. A large percentage of men don't deserve sex from anyone, but they get it because women are greedy and have unrealistic expectations or fantasy thinking.

David Goggins read no books on exercise. Never takes supplements. He says most authors are theorists. He is right.

I've read hundreds of books on exercise and they were my only teachers, and I was in great shape from age 17-62. Only moving here slowed that down because of the lack of a decent gym close by and age. Supplements aren't necessary until you get older and your body doesn't produce as much on it's own as before. Diet can supply most of them unless you are deficient for some reason. Listening to one's opinions on others doesn't tell the truth. You need many, who learned by evidence gathering, saying the same things to know what the truth is.

No, character comes from your first environment, wit genetics adding a little. The most important things you learn in life are from ages 0-5, with the same added on until you leave the house. No one is born selfish. It's a learned behavior like narcissism, which goes together.

What is truth? People said you can't run a 4 minute mile before. Most authors are just using info that is limited and half true.

Think what you will but you're wrong. People are what their environment taught them, along with some genetic predisposition. No one has superior or inferior genes. Hitler had a very screwed up childhood. It wasn't genes but how his parents treated him. Some can be genetically predisposed to have certain ailments or learning disabilities. People that grow up close can take on characteristics of others, especially if they look up to them. Bad actions mostly come from being taught bad actions. Very few are born sociopathic.

I have a relationship with a Thai girl who had an extremely rich first Thai boyfriend. According to her she broke it up because he was too demanding, trying to make her into what he wanted, and she didn't like it and thought she couldn't be what he wanted. That's what she says anyway.

 

We all know about the obsession Thais have with skin colour, many Thai girls do think that Western guys are just more attractive, taller, fair skin, it's more attractive to them..

 

I think you underestimate how foreigners are more attractive to Thais.

 

This is not a uniquely Thai phenomenon, in Sweden, Germany and Netherlands too, the local women are highly attracted to the dark-haired foreigners. The other carries a lot of allure. It can seem more interesting.

It doesn't require a "bad history", they may just be attracted to farang because of looks, they're more exciting, more interesting.

Yes if Hitler had a better family he might not have ended up a mass muderer but his genes could still make him a bad person. There is a gene called the warrior gene and another gene linked to bad behaviour.

Attraction isn't a choice, and if there are an equal amount of foreigners and locals in an area, it  will amount to personal attraction.

 

Thais have a mindset about foreigners, and also go by word of mouth. If foreigners and locals all had the same amount of money, most Thai women would still prefer their own, mainly because of how they relate to each other.

 

This is in Thailand. If we were talking about the US, where everyone was independent and all spoke English, then it would go by attraction, and that again is personal. Foreigners are "more exciting and more interesting" because of media and word of mouth. People are all the same if they're all making the same amount of money. Yes, I love brown skin and many Thais like white skin. That's going by just looks, which is young thinking.

 

Some red haired girls are attracted to black men. This is fantasy thinking. Not normal attraction. Many like Latinos, thinking they're "Latin lovers", which means nothing, as being a lover has nothing to do with nationality. Immature thinking has many women going with the wrong men, until they learn their thinking was off, and based on media, fantasy, word of mouth or greed. You won't see many western women with Thai men in the US, as they already know of their habits and way of thinking. The older a Thai women gets, especially if they haven't been treated bad in their lives, the more likely they'll end up with other locals. A lot of matches occur because of poverty and bad treatment.

I try to avoid any deep thoughts about the earth, climate change net zero, or does she really love me?

I'm thinking "there's a wine cooler and a Yorkie bar in the fridge" and that's about as far as my thoughts ever take me.
