As China pushes out about 10 billion tons per year of CO2 into the atmosphere, is there really any real significance to this 3 million?

CCS is very expensive with small benefit. And who will pay? Oh yeah! I remember. The Muggins family.
Nah, it's not "amazing" at all, the food is really bad, it's ice cold as you rightly say, very little daylight, it's a miserable place actually. No wonder Thailand is full of Swedes, Danes, Finns, and Norwegians.
But you hit the nail on the hand, thise miniature non-countries, also including Holland, Luxembourg, etc, have it much easier, they can tax and then take care of their handful of people. Their programs would never work for real countries with populations ten times the size.
On a serious note, Norse Atlantic Airways, a new airline, has grown considerably, offering tried-and-tested bargain fares to various routes around the world and is gaining popularity with travellers.
I hope it works. I googled and looked on YouTube at their offerings, and they are impressive at very cheap prices.
Another newcomer offering cheap deluxe and business fares to Thailand is INDIGO, from India, but I will give them a miss. I wouldn't fancy a stopover in Bombay.
