The image showed Trump in Superman's iconic costume, accompanied by the caption "THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY. SUPERMAN TRUMP."

 

Commentators criticised the perceived normalisation of such content for Trump, with one suggesting the official White House account had become a "slop engagement farm."
