In the wee hours of this morning, chaos erupted in Pattaya as a Thai woman managed to escape a South Korean man after being forced to consume cannabis gummies. The 25-year-old, identified only as Bew, was found visibly intoxicated and distressed outside a convenience store on Pattaya Sai Song Road at 3:36 am.

Mueang Pattaya Police swiftly responded to the scene after alarmed locals spotted Bew. She appeared marginally coherent, trembling, and unable to communicate. Originally from Songkhla, Bew had relocated to Pattaya to work in the entertainment industry. Officers quickly provided her with an inhaler and some fresh water, helping her regain enough composure to explain the night's troubling events.

Bew recounted that the ordeal began when she accompanied a South Korean client to a nearby condominium. Enticed to smoke cannabis three or four times, Bew was then given cannabis gummies.

The situation soon spiralled as she experienced dizziness and nausea, prompting her to demand to go home. When her pleas were ignored, she bravely escaped the premises, seeking aid from passers-by.

After receiving assistance from locals, police took Bew to a hospital for a medical evaluation.

Despite her safe return home following the examination, the South Korean man faces no legal consequences for his actions. Authorities encouraged Bew to revisit the police station if she wishes to press charges.

While the immediate crisis has been resolved, this incident highlights potential dangers in the recreational drug scene in Pattaya. It shines a light on the significant risks posed by cannabis products when consumed without consent or understanding.

The police's prompt action ensured Bew's safety, but the situation emphasises the need for awareness and caution.

As of now, the incident remains an unsettling reminder of the vulnerabilities faced by individuals within entertainment hubs. No charges have been filed against the South Korean man, leaving the path open for potential legal proceedings depending on Bew’s decision.

The case underlines the importance of monitoring and regulating the use and distribution of cannabis-infused products.

I've said it before, no grown man should be sucking on children's "gummies", and the people who manufacture those kid killers should be prosecuted forthwith!

Want to have marijuana, smoke it like a man!

UPDATE

When contacted by the police, the Korean guy was still so stoned he thought she was still there—turns out he’d been talking to a houseplant for 3 hours.

Track down who's making these gummies and lock them up.

It sounded like a Reefer Madness type of post.  I wasn't disappointed.

Reefer takes another unwitting victim.

Reefer Madness: Bew's Tale Of Woe and Sin, Reefer Madness, Worse Than Bathtub Gin

Oh, beware the tale of poor Bew's fate,
A lass who danced with a dangerous date.
From South Korea, a client did come,

With THC gummies, sweet as a plum.

"Try these treats," he said with a grin,
"They're just a bit of fun, no sin!"
Bew, enticed, took a puff and a chew,
And soon her mind began to skew.

Her senses swirled, her thoughts took flight,
The room spun wild in the neon light.
She giggled, she swayed, she lost her way,
In the haze of pot and gummies' sway.

"Oh, what is this?" cried Bew in a fright,
As shadows danced in the mad moonlight.
The client's laugh, it grew and grew,
While Bew was trapped in a reefer stew.

Her heart raced fast, her mind a blur,
Visions of chaos began to stir.
She saw dragons soar, and skies turn green,
Lost in a world she'd never seen.

The moral, dear friends, is clear as day,
Beware the gifts that lead astray.
For pot and gummies, though they seem fun,
Can twist your mind till sanity's done.

So heed this tale of Bew's wild ride,
And keep your wits when the temptress sighs.
For in the smoke and the candy's gleam,
Lies a madness far beyond a dream.

"Gummies" are an American invention and allow people to eat as innocent

sweets/candy the bitter hash/ weed. That is why people take too much; because they eat them for the pleasure of the sweet taste.  Better to drink the weed as tea or nibble on the hash and the bitter taste automatically keeps the consumption down.

Meanwhile the gummy works its way through the digestive system getting stronger and stronger.  Often leading to bad trips. It takes several hours for it to leave your system.
