Which version of chat gbt do you use?

Featured Replies

I search on the app store on my macbook pro for chatgbt. Several options came up:

- Chatbox: Ask AI chatbox (3 days free trial and then pay). In the about tab it says its ver 5.0

- Chatbot: Open chat with AI Bot

- AI chatbot- Ask AI chat bot

- AI chatbot- ask chat assistant

Which one do you recommend. Im trying the first one that was on the list in the app store.

On my iphone I seem to have the 4th option which is free and seems quite good actually. Its ver 4 omni

So is it worth paying subs for the first one? I suppose the new pay model must be the superior option?

I paid yearly last time but this time around they would only accept a monthly payment based on my location, kind of weird.

I don't understand why anyone would use chatgpt through a 3rd party and expose your data and use subscriptions when the official one is great already

which one is the third party one. Its all a bit confusing.

I have a free one on my phone. but dont know which one is third party. Please explain all options to me.

I use the paid for monthly subscription, it is about £20 a month ChatGPT4o, the free version is limited.

I use it to generate 'hidden, hard to find system' code for iPhone app development, it can then be integrated with my own code.

But I have to check in detail every time as it makes mistakes, but it is good as a template for system code as it means I do not have to trawl though lots of manuals to find what I need.

You need to know what to ask it, you can then build on the information you have been given by getting it to do more complex things, it is like working with a team of experts, as you know what you need to do but need refined info on how to do it.

It allows you to avoid reinventing the wheel on most occasions.

Just load the app directly from ChatGTP. You probably have already done this.

You can also download it to your computer https://openai.com/chatgpt/download/

None I have my own intelligence. I don't need an artificial one.

If you did have any intelligence you would realise AI does not actually exist, but companies hype it to sell products and others learn about what it is supposed to be via social media

So it is a case of the blind leading the blind.
