Oh hell....didn't realise Biden started a tariff war......missed that.

  • Are you sure?

  • Oh, you mean Trump will reduce the deficit? That's not what the CBO says.   "Trump's 'big, beautiful bill' is projected to add $3.4 trillion to the debt, Congressional Budget Office says"

Thailand is still negotiating but apparently they're hoping that Thai Airways' big order for 787's will swing the tariff balance more their way.

When he was sleeping he was still doing a better job of president than the current clown. Causing no damage to the world.

Biden didn't have to, the deals were already in place and working very well. No need to make new deals if you don't flip over the table.

A deal with Japan is meaningless, they will deal you out with specifications and red tape regardless of what is on the paper.

And how many tariffs did former President Biden introduce?

Just in case you had forgotten, President Biden introduced, exactly NONE so there was NO need to negotiate any "new" deals, and the people of the USA were far better off.

How it started. There is ZERO chance any good can come from Trumps tariffs which are just a tax on Americans.

How it's going. Well OK his tariffs have raised 10s of BILLIONS of $$ and are helping reduce the trade defecit and 4 countries have already signed deals. All incredible achievements, but the left are seriously butthurt and are desperately trying to paint a negative spin on the heroic achievement. Classic😅

He was busy giving all their money to ukraine and running huge deficits with everyone, getting taken advantage of by nothing countries like thailand charging huge tax on all american goods

A real win for the US people......a true genius

Increasing tariffs under Trump’s policies risks hurting the very U.S. consumers and businesses they aim to protect. While intended to pressure foreign competitors and protect domestic industries, tariffs act as an indirect tax on imports, raising the prices of everyday goods such as electronics, clothing, and raw materials. This leads to higher costs for American families and squeezes small businesses that rely on imported components.

Moreover, retaliatory tariffs from trading partners can damage U.S. exports, hitting farmers and manufacturers hard, leading to job losses in sectors dependent on international markets. Historically, tariffs have fueled supply chain inefficiencies and discouraged innovation by shielding domestic producers from global competition, potentially leaving U.S. industries less competitive in the long term.

Economists widely warn that tariffs can slow economic growth and increase inflation, effectively acting as a hidden tax on consumers while risking trade wars that destabilize global markets and undermine investor confidence.

President Biden didn't attempt to plunge the world into a recession. Neither did he treat the office of the POTUS as an opportunity for grifting. He also put grownups in positions of power instead of those who's tongue could reach the farthest up his butt. He also treated allies with respect and enemies got the cold shoulder - exactly opposite of how Trump acts.

I could go on and on here but you get my drift, I'm sure.

They only made a deal to shut Trump up. Nothing has been accepted at the Japanese ports yet.

We've got about 76 more meltdowns to come as more countries the left promised us would never sign trade deals due to Trumps tariffs sign trade deals due to his tariffs. It will be a particularly painful rest of the year for the tariff disinformation and irrational hatred squad.
