No doubt the US and the EU member states are wary of Russia with good reason, but neither has anything to gain by entering into a conflict.

 

The days when US foreign policy was based on eradicating Communism have long since past and it has no desire to fight another war in Europe.

 

The EU and its' member states are much more powerful and wealthy economically than Russia so, again, they have absolutely nothing to gain from a conflict.

Of course the EU member States are much wealthier than Russia. But we have no meaningful armies left.

 

Unfortunately, the EU states have allowed their military capabilities to decrease to the point of "no self defence capability".

 

A warm handshake is the only thing the Ukraine will get from Europe, but no military hardware, as we have nothing to spare.

 

Lo and behold: Now the EU States want to "rearm". Taking at least 10 years. By then, Putin will be sitting in the south of France, sipping expensive French wine. If he want's it. Let's hope he doesn't want it.

How the F do you think he's going to do that? Riding on a clapped out T34 towed by Donkeys? The Russian Arm is a bag of shiite, only fit for raping grannies and their own men, after they raped the dog of course. A million men lost in 3 years, and gaining negative land, against an oppostions equipped with cast offs from the Soviet Empire and whatever 30 year old surplus NATO had stashed away. By next year, EU shell production will exceed Russian production, and the EU is barely breaking a sweat. Meanwhile Russia's having to scour pensioners and Bangladeshis for workers.
 

Obviously the legalisation of ganja in the LOS has rotted many a brain.
