Police in Pattaya were called at 03:45 on 11 August, to a violent incident involving a man in a frenzied state who smashed up property and had sustained serious injuries.

Pol Lt Sontaya Khonsap, deputy inspector with Pattaya City Police, received the report and coordinated with rescue volunteers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation. The incident occurred at a health massage shop on Central Pattaya Road.

On arrival, officers found the shop’s front glass door shattered, with blood splattered across the floor. The suspect, reportedly a South Korean national, had fled into an adjacent nail salon and was found lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom of his former girlfriend, weakened from heavy blood loss. He was given first aid before being rushed to hospital.

A search of the ex-girlfriend’s third-floor bedroom revealed extensive damage to furniture and bloodstains on the floor. The woman, visibly shaken, had taken refuge downstairs and pleaded with onlookers not to take photographs.

A cleaner at the massage shop told police she had been asleep when the loud crash of shattering glass woke her. Initially thinking a car had hit the shop, she got up to investigate and was shocked to find a foreign man, covered in blood, shouting incoherently. When staff threatened to call police, he fled into the nail salon next door.

Police confirmed the suspect was the same man involved in an incident on 16 June, when he allegedly detained his then-girlfriend in the same nail salon after discovering she was seeing another man. He fled the scene on a bicycle but was later arrested in possession of a loaded Sig Sauer P320 pistol with 15 rounds in the magazine.

It is believed the man had been released on bail pending trial for the June incident. Residents expressed concern that he was able to commit another violent act in less than two months, saying the repeated nature of the offences had left the community fearful.

Fortunately, no one else was injured in the latest incident, though property damage was extensive.

Ex-girlfriend.........so.....

Yet another tragedy caused by a misogynistic male with an incredibly delicate ego......so fragile he had to smash up a room and kick in a glass door......truly pathetic

Because she cheated.

Obviously the Korean guy was still in love with her.

Love makes you do crazy things.

Poor guy.

Naah...his little head was doing the thinking. You should know.

She has ever right to be with whoever she wants.....HE DOES NOT OWN HER.

Oh but he was in love!!!!......give your head a wobble......that in noway justifies how he behaved.

What if she had been there?.....I guess he would be entitled to beat seven shades out of her?

How can one Filipina and one female teacher damage you this badly?

Love 😊 How can someone coming up to their sixth decade, be without a clue?

technically not "cheating" ?? but she left him for another man, which is hard on the ego.

and she probably started dating the other guy while still with this guy or at least had the other guy on the radar at the same time.

but still ... get over it. I been burned and I never smashed my head through a window.  not yet, anyway.

That's teenage stuff. By the time you are an adult you might have developed some emotional intelligence. You know, understanding if and when people actually like you. But if you are leering over young women and expecting them to love and respect you...

Not everyone does.

Some people have low EQ til the day they die.

It's called arrested development.

Of course she did. Women always line up the next option before they break up. She worked in a massage parlour, says it all really.

That's a fact.I guess her new bf is a customer who provide more money.

Almost certainly. You've hit the nail on the head.

Is it the same Korean guy who locked himself in the back room of a Pattaya 7-ELEVEN with a gun?

The Koreans are doing some gangster stuff here, the Brits better step it up. Got to do better than give middle finger to an ambulance.

I guess they don't require tempered safety glass on commercial building doors?

It's not always about the money, but future prospects. 'Losers' perhaps prefer to console themselves that she went with a higher bidder. But the truth is that if she actually loved you and saw you in her future, it likely wouldn't happen.

You were just a stepping stone. If it happens time and time again...it's you.

So less than 2 months ago he had been arrested in possession of a gun.  Why was he back on the scene of the crime?
