Paint Tester Pots

Featured Replies

Dumb question incoming

Can you get small paint tester pots in Thailand?

My local Home Pro only mixes paint to order and the smallest quantity they make is way more than I need to put 3 or 4 test patches on the walls

Thanks in advance

Depends on the brand, some brands can mix 1/4 gallon, other brands 1 gallon minimum.

Dulux for example is 1 gallon minimum

I have never seen any...they have the colour swatch cards which can give a quite accurate colour match if you bring a flaked off sample  to the shop to meticulously compare...even then no guarantee that the colour they mixup will actually match, IMHO best option is to buy enough paint to do the whole wall/area in one go.

Thanks for the info

I guess I’ll buy the smallest tins I can get for the colours I’m choosing between

it’s not the cost, more the waste for the colours I end up not using

Thailand is a civilized country, and therefor they use LITER (metric). Good luck with your gallons in Thailand :cheesy:

Most if not all the paint I have seen is in gallons here.  They also often use inches for measurements here too.

That smart Alec comment didn't age well, isn't it? Maybe you should visit Thailand one day, and get a reality update.
