August 14, 2025Aug 14 Strong doubts that Ukraine is going to be accepted within the EU ( that is is not going to happen). A majority of voters and leaders in western Europe are not prepared to see Brussels have an extra mouth with a oversized appetite to feed.

Did you ever notice they go after the people that want to find out where the cheating was and, by the way, 82 percent of the country understands that it was a rigged election, OK? You can't have a country with that. "A poll came out, 82 percent, but they go after the people, they don't go after the people that rigged the election, they go after the people that looking, they're looking for the people that rigged the election. The Russians stabalized their lines but in 2024 the push west started in an attrititional warfare way. Right now there are major cities in Donbas in big trouble and the Donbas Oblast as a whole is now threatened. The Ukrainian Army has been stretched thin due to the attritional nature of the ground war and the Russian troops continue to capture ground. Apart from that 3 years ago it was a different war in terms of weaponry. Tanks could be used back then. Not much anymore now that drones are being used. You're the second bloke on the forum to refer to the Ukrainian Army being "stretched thin" while making no reference to the Russian Army being stretched thin, which it is. Almost like you both use the same source material. A lot more Russiam males of fighting age left Russia, than Ukrainian males. A lot more convicts have been pressganged. No foreign workers have been pressganged into the Ukrainian army. List the "major cities" in Donbas which are in "big trouble". Interested in your definition of a "major city". Maybe you are referencing Kostiantynivka, prewar population 67,000, in British terms, a town, comparable to Corby. It was captured in 2014 by seperatists, but then recaptured. Its pretty much a ruin. The biggest is certainly Kramatorsk, pre-war 200,000. Not in danger of falling unless Dobropillia, a small town that had a population of 25,000 prewar, falls to the murderous thugs; that might affect supply lines. But I suspect you are copy pasting from the same source as others, so are rushing now to substantiate your claims.

I read plenty, thanks. And what does your comment purport to prove? I don't doubt that there are clandestine cells throughout the world operated by the US, France , the UK, etc. Likewise, they are many such cells operated by the Kremlin. And what? That justifies the Russian invasion of Ukraine? You need to think things out more.

NATO is a different matter and that will be more to do with Trump than the USA. I have not mentioned the UK (or NATO for that matter). My point is simply that if Ukraine were to join the EU, it would not be a proxy state as one poster suggested

As many pro-USA members of this forum would tell you, Ukraine has killed a lot of Russian soldiers. They've used EU, UK and USA-supplied weapons to kill Russian civilians too, which killing of civilians is something they also accuse Russia of doing.

If Ukraine Army is not being stretched thin why is it that Russian infantry forces basically walked through the main Donbas defencive line and troops like the Azov Brigade have been pulled from Shcerbynivka (which is under Russian control) and the 93rd brigade has been pulled from around Kostiantynivka (semi-encircled) to try and sure up Dobropillia weakening Ukrainian defences in these regions. As for listing major cities in big trouble here's some. Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Rodynske (enveloped), Kostiantynivka, Chasiv Yar (Russians have taken this), Toresk (Russians have taken this), Siversk, Sloviansk and Kupiansk to name some. As for copying and pasting I am getting this from a variety of sources one of which is official Ukrainian information.
August 14, 2025Aug 14 Which outcome means the draft dodgings Russians hiding in Thailand can finally go to other destinations so we can at least get some parts of Thailand back from Russian rule.

Surely USA won’t allow Russian or Chinese setting up military bases in Canada or Mexico. Right? We saw that with Cuban missile crisis in the 60’s. what about Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland (via Kaliningrad)? These nations border Russia. What difference does Ukraine make?
