A 13-year-old schoolgirl has been hospitalised after jumping from the fourth floor of a classroom building at Khon Kaen Wittayayon School on the morning of 18 August.

The incident occurred at around 10.30 at Building 7 of the school in Nai Mueang subdistrict, Mueang Khon Kaen. Witnesses said the girl’s body struck a canopy before landing on the bonnet of a parked car, breaking her fall.

Teachers and emergency responders rushed to assist before she was taken to Khon Kaen Regional Hospital. Doctors confirmed that she remained conscious, responsive and able to speak despite her injuries.

According to school staff, the student admitted to jumping deliberately. Classmates told investigators she had been suffering from depression.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident, while the school has pledged to provide counselling and support to the student and her family.

Sad & lucky.  Hope she gets help.

Poor kid.

Probably getting sexually abused from a relative or someone close, maybe the boys from school.

Kids these days having sexual relationships, frequently at this age, puts alot of stress on them.

The Justice system sucks for these young people, so sad 😞
