Pattaya Banks - increasing limits

Featured Replies

The apps for Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn have reduced the limits to small daily limits, anyone tried a branch and been able to increase them to large amounts? so large transfers can be made to hospitals for example.

Strangely today with Kasikorn app although i manually set a daily transaction limit to 1500 baht i was able to pay 10k today

There is a message on my app saying my  limit was set to the banks 'total daily limits' I took that to mean I could not set a lower one, nor effect a higher transfer/payment. I really do not know what is going on, can I no longer purchase a 3 piece suite or other big ticket items, despite having the money? Is my 800k really locked in now? I see a bit of raving from Integrity Legal about this, and can see why, is my bank now an arm of the immigration police!

Just changed the daily transaction limit on KPlus to 100'000 Baht. Had to do facial scan as expected.

Account branch is in Pattaya but I am back home.

Yes in a way.

I haven't really looked into but seems related with issuing the "bank letter for immigration" if you use the 800k/400k method. After that balance frozen due to immigration "don't touch" rules.

Might even be Pattaya specific while it's hard to believe that transaction limits are.

Thread is in Pattaya forum and might not draw attention of the experts.
