Good idea to get the kids out of the way before the stabbings, rapes and killings start

Thank you for that video. It makes me wish I was there. But sitting down near a toilet if there are any left in London.

I used to stay on Portobello for the carnival - I worked in Notting Hill and Peckham is the other side of the river! but Peckham has always been the home of London racism.

Afraid to say, like all racists, you rely on assumptions rather than facts.

...and you think that makes you and Peckham not racist? PS I also lived in Peckham ...where was the eel and pie in those days???

I lived in Bellenden road neat the Holsten Beer depot, not playing your silly ping pong questionnaire nonsense

@kwilco I've been to Peckham. The eel and pie shop was on Peckham Hill Street.  What's your point? When did Peckham become racist? Can you explain?

Still there: https://www.manze.co.uk

There's also a big sign imprinted on the brickwork at the back. I know as I did some training in the gym in the square there.

Does that Notting Hill  Sunday street Market still exit? I forget the name .

"I've been to Peckham" – so what? - No, it wasn't – I'm checking to see if our racist friend actually know either Notting Hill or Peckham – both  places where I lived – so you nearly spoiled it

140 arrests on the first 'children's day' several for attacks on the Police, up on last year. Clearly this event needs to be stopped and moved for public safety

The score so far:

Breakdown of the 423 total arrests made at Notting Hill Carnival 2025

  • Assault on police – 32
  • Possession of an offensive weapon - 46
  • Possession of cannabis – 70 Possession of Class A – 32
  • Drug supply – 44
  • Robbery – 5
  • Violence with injury – 4
  • Other violence – 36
  • Sexual offences – 18
  • Other offences - 136

Not always, he’s just told you he no longer lives there.

Great opportunity to make new friends and acquaintances.

Police use of technology has apparently reduced the violence.

Less serious violence at Notting Hill Carnival this year, say police

This year's Notting Hill Carnival had "far fewer" incidents of serious violence than in recent years, the Metropolitan Police has said.

...

Met Assistant Commissioner Matt Ward said the use of live facial recognition, metal detectors and stop-and-search had "prevented some of the serious violence we have seen at previous carnivals".

A story about a children's parade and you have to pollute it with your racism, posting a video of a nasty old pompous racist, I have checked the rest of his channel. Nasty. He clearly just hates black people.

If you think facts are racist you have a problem, the good news is nobody was murdered this year, just several hundred arrests, thanks to the 12 million pound security operation by the police. You would not support this annual crime event if you had to live along the route.

I’ve had neighbors who used to whinge about the Edinburgh Festival.

There’s always some grumpy old git who’s only happy when they’re miserable.

Thanks for confirming this is as true in Peckham as it is in the New Town.

How many are usually arrested, stabbed, killed, raped, spat on or bitten at the Edinburgh festival?  Does it take thousands of Police and 12 million just to try and keep a lid on it?
