What kind of debate and "facts" are you talking about ? What 'm doing here is delivering the facts and common sense against your lies, warmongering, propaganda, disinformation, manipulation and showing Ukraine as an innocent, almost a "holy" country.

A debate could take place if you could offer a rational counter-argument to my contention that this war was instigated by Russia and is economic in nature. However, you are seemingly incapable of doing so and instead merely regurgitate  lazy rhetoric about MSM bias, Western propaganda, etc - for which you provide little or no evidence - ad infinitum.

There is little doubt that corruption and extreme right-wing elements have been present in Ukraine ever since its independence, however that in itself was not sufficient justification for Russia to interfere in Ukraine's internal affairs and even less of a justification for invasion.

"U" country leaders, politicians and oligarchs doesn't understand this either, this is why Ukraine is so crooked, and rotten since many decades. Cavemans know only argumentum ad baculum and this is how they want to solve all their problems. Fight, crush, kill, destroy, burn, deceive and threat others. Even if it means slow agony and suffering for the average human being in "U" country. Everything with help from mass media and internet puppets slowly injecting poisonous ideas into masses brains.

Shallow minds are more likely to believe any ridiculous conspiracy theory. My advice is to try to think critically if you can.

You say that you are a Pole. If so, then you should be well aware of the benefits that EU membership has brought to your country and yet, you would deny Ukraine the opportunity to seek similar benefit. Shame on you.

(To be clear. I am not suggesting that Ukraine should have become a member of the EU in 2014 - the issue of corruption amongst other things needed to be tackled before membership could be granted - merely that she should have been shown the pathway to membership)

Started by the US for a few reasons.

Firstly, they have always been jealous that Russia is the biggest country and not them.

Best to break up Russia into smaller more manageable parts.

Russia, as of now, will not bend the knee.

The US wants to get its grubby hands on Russia's energy resources and mineral riches.

The US wants a 'Yeltsin' type leader back in charge.

All started back in 2014.

Really? Bigger in what way? The US is any number of degrees more economically powerful than Russia. True, Russia occupies a significantly larger land mass, but do you seriously think the US wants to grab Russian territory just to simply boast that has the biggest land mass?

Why? Many areas of Russia are nothing but a drain on the economy.

23 minutes ago, Stiddle Mump said:

It's not being asked to 'bend the knee'. It's being asked to get out of a sovereign country which it invaded.

I'm sure that the US (and others) would like access to Russia's energy resources and mineral riches. The way to achieve that is through trade, something that was the norm until Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Quite possibly true but there is/was nothing to suggest that the US is/was willing to go to war with Russia to achieve that outcome.

Well the tensions were there before then but I agree that 2014 was a pivotal point in time, notably when Moscow forced the Yanukovych government to abandon the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement - the major element in the platform on which Yanukovych  was elected - in favour of closer ties with Russia. A popular uprising (The Maidan Revolution) followed which resulted in the removal of Yanukovych. Putin could not accept this outcome and the rest, unfortunately, is history.

To defend against aerial strikes and drones, Russian units have fitted their tanks with improvised metal frames known as mangals. These large cage-like structures, designed to absorb or deflect explosive hits, have become increasingly common across the front.

However, many soldiers say the modifications have created more problems than they solved. The Ukrainian outlet Defense Express quoted one Russian tanker saying:

“The second company made a huge ‘mangala’ of ropes, but after traveling less than ten kilometers, the tank had to cease operations due to the failure of one of its sides.”

The added weight of these protective layers strains the tanks’ engines and suspension systems.

Models such as the T-80BVM and T-72B3M, already operating under heavy loads, are particularly affected.

Extra armor makes them slower and less maneuverable, limiting their ability to respond quickly on the battlefield.

Yes, US has been trying to hold Russia down for decades.

The propaganda they gave us is "communism is bad."

Then the propaganda was put into movies to make it more effective.

Russians were the bad guys and scary looking.

You don't need boots on the ground when someone else is dying with the weapons you provide to kill people you don't like in countries you hate.

You'd think they would be expanding production not cutting it

If it means people are "infected" with a sober assessment of the situation, critical thinking and developing propaganda proof ability - then (even if I'm just a middle european) we happy to be sick like this. No jab needed here.

Nope, I'm a Pole. Which also helps me to have a sober, wide perspective about this conflict.

How could I not complain ? We took milions of them here. Gave them places to live, welfares, sometimes work, medical care etc. But still some of them are just ordinary criminals and don't know how to behave in civilized country. Drunk driving, using system loopholes to get welfares, waving black/red nazi flags in public places, murders (usually woman are the victims), plotting and organising provocations etc. It's like going to visit someone's home and sh%*t in the middle of living room. My country became "ukrainized" beyond comprehension by antipolish politicians here, who let the millions in without any control. And we - polish people already see how many problems it brings and concerning about our children future.

Fictional ? Because of what ? Because you claim/think so ? LOL. Funny thing - I talked to probably 120+ ukrainians during that trip and NOT EVEN ONE of them want to continue this conflict. Heard many stories about TCK and how the men kidnapped from the street are send to the first line of battlefield without ANY preparation. No wonder why "U" country is hiring illegal mercenaries to fight there and kill others for money.

Question, homey: As a articulate and reasonable seeming Pole that clearly is aware of the International situation, are you "afraid" of Russia?

Ukrainian defenders attacked the Gvardeyskoye oil depot in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of November 10. Drones struck the target with precision, according to the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces Command.

"On the night of November 10, units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck the oil depot of the state-owned enterprise Gvardeyskiy in Karierne, Saky district, temporarily occupied Crimea, Ukraine," the Special Operations Forces said.

The military explained that the federal state-owned Gvardeyskiy oil depot plays a key role in supplying fuel to Russian forces in Crimea. It supports Russian military facilities and provides transport fuel for the Russian army.

Paranoid despot Vladimir Putin is now living like the Iraqi tyrant Saddam Hussein as he hides away in remote palaces amid fears he could be targeted by Ukrainian drone strikes.

New research into how the Russian leader misleads his own people about his whereabouts has given insight into the ruler's tactics as war with Ukraine rages on. In fact, Putin has three identical offices where he is regularly filmed, allowing him to pretend to be in Moscow even as he's hundreds of miles away in Sochi, on the Black Sea, or at his forest palace in Valdai, north of the capital.

Analysis of his face-to-face meetings show that this year Putin has almost stopped using his vast official residence in the Moscow region, Novo-Ograveo.

Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Agency (HUR) says that since 2024, more than 600 Russian servicemen have died in the Central Military District alone, never making it to combat.

In a statement released this week, HUR reported “unsanitary conditions, alcoholism and narcotics use” as key factors. The same document records 71 suicides in 2024 and 86 in the first half of 2025, alongside 32 cases of food poisoning and 112 fatal overdoses.

The report also describes widespread recruitment failures across Russia’s poorest areas. Citing internal documents from the Russian Defense Ministry, HUR says mobilization goals have not been met in several far-eastern territories, including the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). In Yakutia, recruitment centers reportedly missed about 40 percent of their quotas.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Stavrolen defense plant in Budyonovsk, Stavropol Krai, Russia, as well as an ammunition depot in the temporarily occupied Novyi Svit, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"As part of efforts to reduce the production capacity of petrochemical products for the needs of Russia's military-industrial complex, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the infrastructure of Stavrolen LLC (Budyonovsk, Stavropol Krai, Russian Federation)," Ukraine's General Staff says.

The plant has a full cycle of hydrocarbon processing and produces polymers for the manufacture of composite materials, body parts, seals, and insulation for various types of Russian army equipment. Among other things, it also produces components for drones.

On the night of November 13, Ukrainian weapons struck many important targets in Russia and the occupied territories. Flamingo missiles, Bars, and Liutyi drones were used in the attack, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the temporarily occupied part of Crimea, strikes were recorded on the Morskoy Neftyanoy Terminal oil storage facility, a helicopter parking lot, and drone storage and preparation sites at the Kirovskoye airfield, as well as on an air defense radar station in the Yevpatoria area.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, an oil depot in the Berdiansk area and the forward command posts of the 5th Combined Arms Army and the 127th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian occupation forces were hit.
