Converting Music.

Featured Replies

Hey Ho I have come across an old Apple I-POD prob second Generation. I have a Music player on my Samsung phone i use when im out and about, but i have to use wi-fi to listen to it. So when i fly or jump on a Train i cannot stick my head-phones in because i cannot listen to my songs. Is there software i can download to move music from my phone to an older Apple i-pod without using I-Tunes. thanks.

I don't have an "I"  anything but apparently they can play MP3

The iPod natively does not support WMA. If you are a Windows user and do not have the music available in another format, you will need to convert it to a format that the iPod can use, such as MP3. There are numerous applications that can quickly convert these files, such as SuperAudio Converter and WMA-to-MP3 Converter.

You might also be able to use VLC to play either natively on the "I" thing or use it to convert to MP3 then move the files onto the device for playback at your leisure   without internet streaming disruptions ,wifi or data problems as the files are all on the device.
