Bank of Thailand to Launch Polymer 50- and 100-Baht Notes This November

The Bank of Thailand announced the November release of new 50‑ and 100‑baht banknotes printed on durable polymer—a shift following the successful 20‑baht polymer rollout known for its eight‑year lifespan. These new notes promise increased resistance to moisture and wear, cost savings, and environmental benefits compared to traditional paper currency. They retain familiar designs, but include enhanced security features, like a transparent window with embossed numerals, color-shifting ink, and tactile marks (Braille and raised lines) to aid visually impaired users. The notes will circulate alongside existing paper versions, and become available from November 21 at banks nationwide.

Anyone know if they are still using the UK printers de la Rue PLC and polymer base from Australia's CCL Secure pty? That's who did the 20 baht polymer currency.  It's a nice contract to get.
