It's not about Udon. It's about WAYNE who happens to be in Udon. 

He just likes the sound of his own voice.

Most of the video is WAYNE in the airport, then WAYNE in the hotel. Ok, he shows what kind of cheap hotel you can get. But no compelling reasons to visit there. He loves Udon because it's quiet and no one goes there.

Of course no one goes there because there are so many better places to visit.

And once again, absolute garbage Youtube video here ... guy just likes to be seen on camera mostly.

That video was incredibly dull. It's hard to believe that anyone would actually subscribe to his YouTube channel.

He's on a DTV so his consecutive days in LOS are limited.  He has take trips out and back in.

Good restaurants

I remember I saw one of his videos where he toured his new apartment for 3,500/month. Maybe he got priced out of Chiang Mai? more likely I think he's just click baiting and going on a little trip to make some content. This is exactly the kind of person who's going to cause the DTV to get shutdown because honestly why is Thailand giving broke YouTuber the privilege of a 5 year visa? Makes the expensive Elite visa look like an overpriced joke and people are probably losing face left right and center.

 

Sadly this guys tour videos are pretty much useless. He shows up in the middle of some town and walks around a few streets and of course those are the ugliest most redundant part of any town in Thailand and you learn nothing of the area.  Having said that he has vlogged some interesting locations in CM I didn't know about so that was helpful.

All the visas seem undesirable. Do most people here actually keep 800k baht in a thai bank? It all seems bad

Yeah half his videos are crap but the same applies to all youtubers. I know lots of great spots in Udon but I keep them to myself.

He was on Ed Visa's before the DTV. After the DTV he had to post more videos because this is the occupation he appears to have put on the DTV.  As far as I know he is not a remote worker so he has no choice but to post at least once a week.  His past vidoes about  restaurants and apartments were interesting but lately some of the contet actually lacks "content".  Can't blame him for finding a new to stay in LOS.

Seen no farangs in a few gems there. Most farangs are lazy. 380 baht hotel with pool. Be 1500 in Phuket. Only seen 1 farang there.

That´s true! However, it doesn´t make the city special at all, as there is probably only Phuket that can compete with Pattaya regarding morons.

Which cities have good rooms with a pool for 380? Not seen that anywhere else.

 

There's nothing special about most cities. People there are friendly. Good value. No trashy farangs.

No  don't blame the guy at all and I watch his videos sometimes but it's crazy they bust everyone else's balls and now simply saying you have a YouTube channel and some money in your home bank that gets you 5 years. It's widely out of proportion which is why I think it's going to get shutdown eventually when it gets put under more scrutiny.
