Police in Bangkok have arrested a Nigerian man and his Thai partner in a drug bust that uncovered a cocaine trafficking operation across the city. The crackdown, led by the Child and Women Protection Unit, targeted the pair in their Samut Prakan apartment, where officers seized 99 grams of cocaine, mobile phones, and assets worth over 700,000 Thai Baht.

Siam Boonsom, commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, reported that an informant had tipped off authorities about the couple's drug activities in the Sukhumvit area.

The couple, identified as 33-year-old Ukwe Vincent Chisom and his 30-year-old partner, Kasinee, had entered Thailand illegally via Nong Khai and used their apartment as a front for their illicit trade.

The couple confessed to smuggling cocaine from Sukhumvit for distribution in Srinakarin. Police charged them with trafficking and possession with intent to distribute, alongside immigration violations for Vincent Chisom, reported Khaosod Online.

Both suspects, along with the evidence, have been handed over to the Samrong Nuea Police Station for further legal proceedings.

A Nigerian with drugs never. I am shocked. NOT.

Has there ever been a positive news report about Nigerian’s? Genuinely curious.
