I guess Honda don't want to give us choice, want us to by Clicks and ADVs

Buy a Wave 125i for half the price  lasts for ever but cheap and easy to fix if it does go wrong  also more fun to ride and  very fuel efficient.

IMHO Those high tech gadgets  will go wrong pretty quickly..and a big no no to LCD/TFT  screen assuming its the  dash console display

not good for a high intensity UV environment  like Thailand

You mean used, right? A new wave is approximately 58k without the shops markup. Anyway, people should buy the bike that they’re most comfortable with.

Ok  I'm a bit off in the price (inflation)  yes it would have to be a second hand Wave  to be half the price.

Of course people are free to buy whatever they want..just saying that the Wave is a very good cheap reliable bike that will last a lifetime if cared for a little bit and should be high on the list of candidates IMHO.

Personally prefer the wave, it’s definitely a good bike and usually just use it for putting around in the area, occasionally take it to the city to thread through traffic, but it’s hard on the old rear after a couple hours.

Last thing i want is a Wave, want a Click but better, flat floor, the NWT150 with better tech sounded perfect

Don't you find it incredibly boring to ride..just twist and go ?

Yes but that happens with most bikes...you can of course get a local shop to modify/contour the seat foam to fit your personal tastes for a very modest price  which helps a bit...but yeah a multi hour marathon ride would leave most everyone a bit saddle sore.

There was a thread on here about some bloke riding all over Thailand on his Wave for  hours on end   must have an "iron butt" 😋

No not at all, i like it more than my previous big bikes, definitely don't want clutch and gears, so over rated

Ohh well, takes all sorts I suppose...  clutch and gears makes for an exciting/ engaging ride...probably not long till "self driving" motorcycles.

Around 10 years ago I rode from Chiang Mai to Patong in one go on my Honda Click i125. Took some 28 hours. I must admit, it was a bit hard; nowadays, I don't ride much more than 800 km in one day.

That is a Honda Click by any other name.

Riding around Pattaya is exciting / engaging enough, it's like Mad Max out there

No it isn't, did you read the spec?

flat floor, radar, ABS

I like the bike, it's got flat floor, really handy for carrying goods, installing infant seat etc.

It's a 150cc, slightly cheaper (than 160) CTP insurance, plenty of power.

It's got lots of goodies, I'd like to see it for sale in Thailand, probably won't, they are making too much money on the PCX

Years ago Honda made a SH150cc, had a flat floor, wasn't stylish, it was a flop

Could be a Honda Lead looking at that rear passenger hang on bar, a smaller bike, similar to the click.

Ha ha  yes it is quite hair raising at times.

Most Chinese new scooters are overloaded with tech, they are trying to beat the Japanese in this way, I guess Honda is trying to catch up.., I really like the tire pressure monitor, it would be very useful - most my bike's tires lose air in some ways...! I guess camera is handy too.., not fan of auto stop/start, low petrol consumption, dead battery way more hassle...

Always buy gas at PTT where they have a tire inflation machine. 28/32 works for most bikes.

Always do... , plus Amazon Cafe and 7-11 there..., really great place on tours... , but it's good to know when it's time to put more air...!

Have you thought about how this blind spot detector would work in normal traffic in Thailand ?

I believe it would be a distraction where anything and everything will be in your blindspot.

I never got the fuzz about specifics models be it scooters or bigger bikes. What’s available and what even better the model that is most sold and easiest to get parts and have most relieable service spread out in Thailand is the model I will choose. Based on experience how bad this is for some brands and bikes especially in Thailand. Pcx, wave, click and believe ADV now is some of the best reliable models on the marked for the moment.

Just my two cents and I know you are an experienced rider both scooters and big bikes, so not trying to educate you.

The radar looks like it works well on car mirrors so would be the same for bikes

Every second fill (two weeks).  Your mileage may differ.
