Hamas releases video of two Israeli hostages held in Gaza

Hamas has released a video showing two Israeli hostages seized from a music festival during its cross-border attack in October 2023.

The video claims to show Guy Gilboa-Dalal in Gaza City in late August, where he says he and eight others are being held and will remain despite Israel's planned ground offensive. It also shows captive Alon Ohel.

Earlier videos of hostages released by their captors in Gaza have been condemned by world leaders and families as propaganda.

Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for the full occupation of Gaza in response, claiming this was the only way to "bring back the hostages in security".

After the Hamas terror group released a propaganda video showing Alon Ohel, the hostage’s family says medical experts have told them that he is now blind in one eye.

“We were shocked to see Alon’s condition. After consulting with eye specialists in Israel and around the world, it is clear that Alon has lost sight in his right eye,” the family says in a statement.

“The frequent blinking we observe indicates severe difficulty focusing and seeing for extended periods,” the family says in a statement released by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

I’m glad to see some hostages still alive.

No excuse for blinding a hostage, if indeed he is blind, however, I have no sympathy for Israel at this point.

They are despised the world over for the genocide in Gaza.

@Rimmer, I would like to send you a PM is that ok?

Almost as bad as the previous one they released of a starved hostage digging his own grave in his tunnel dungeon. Sick <deleted>

If there was a real genocide, nearly all the palestinians would have been dead by now. No sympathy for Israel, means you have sympathy for Hamas.

Nonsense flawed logic

Keep telling yourself that, so you can be a proud Hamas sympathizer.

If Israel would stop the genocide the hostages will be free.

If the genocide is going on the hostages will be considered as collateral damage soon.

It's in the hands of Netanjahu.

There are 5 potential criteria for Genocide.

Terrorising Palestinians by shooting them when they seek food, denying them food, destroying habitation and infrastructure (eg hospitals) more than meets that test.

The hostages and the innocents dying are in the hands of Hamas, not Israel. If Hamas surrenders, the war is over. If Israel pulls out without a Hamas surrender, the Hamas missiles will be raining on Israel daily again, and Hamas would be free to take more hostages whenever they want. Israel didn't start this war.

But caused the war.

The propaganda of the genocide and war crimes committing Israel is obviously working on you.

You are blind for any facts as many here on AN.

Nonsense.  Israel started this war a long time ago.

The Nakbah and before.

    Incorrect :

This current war started on Oct 7 th when Palestine invaded Israel with the intend of causing  genocide and Palestine committed many war crimes that day .

    That was  declaration of war
