does anyone know when (time) Immigration CW releases new appointment slots each day or does it vary?

 

7:30 am this morning and I was lucky to get the last appointment for October 20 for my visa renewal (Retirement). 
 

 

~ 30 days before, IME.

 

Set alarm for 00:01.

 

 

There used to be a lot more slots (Ret/CW), like ~ 20-ish. Now I think it's ~ 5 slots per day.

You were lucky. Just checked available appointments. Zero available. 

The window is up to one month in advance. 

 

Note: The banks don't open till 8.30 so you will need to all your banking stuff day or two prior.

As for update bb on day of applicatiin. Do you have bank with account at CW? 

 

@DrJack54 Thanks for the reply. Any idea when they make the slots available?   As in 2am, 6am.   Would be handy to know.

 

 12 month bank statement - I know you are referring to monthly transfers because we have chatted before, but please amend the good advice to include that it relates only to monthly transfers rather than 800k in the bank.  It will confuse many TVM.

12 month bank statement can be used for both methods. 

Money in bank method and also income method. 

For those using money in bank then in the main bank book photocopies of pages back to last extension would normally be accepted. 

Immigration baulk if some months have zero transactions (happened to me CW) 

Confirm what method you are using for financials and that this is not your first extension.

He was having a joke. 

You have made an appointment for Oct 20 and you would have a specific time on the booking. 

What time is your appointment and what bank do you use. 

 

Note: you need to print out your appointment. 

BTW: Appointments run pretty much like clockwork. 

Be outside the Desk L# on your confirmation 15+ mins early.

Indeed previously it was a dream. 

Pick what suits. Now it's grab any time you can. 

I just checked an hour ago. There are zero days available for next 30 days

Don't follow. 

The OP has an appointment with specific time slot. 

He needs to arrive 15 mins prior to appointment. 

Obviously earlier if needs to prepare docs , banking etc

@bamnutsak  Maybe you are new to this forum.  That's sweet.  Thanks for the reply.  It's not unusual for bored members to post 'funny/sarcastic' replies or replies specific to their IO in the sticks, not CW.

 

@DrJack54   You are a bit confused today.  The question is, when does Immigration update its system to make new appointments available?  At the moment, the system is live until October 20.   So the question is when will CW make October 21 available online for bookings.  @bamnutsak  is saying its 00:01 based on his experience.

 

If that is correct then I would 'stay up' until midnight to make an appointment.

So you have appointment booked. 

Yes or No?? 

Today is 20th booking window is month in advance. 

Tomorrow the window will add another day etc etc. 

 

Now I understand @bamnutsak post. 

If you did not have an appointment then you would try at 00.01 to see if there is slot on 

Oct 21.

The OP was trying to establish when the system is updated.  We know it's 30 days in advance, but we were trying to specify a time.   I will try at 00:01 and see what my experience is and report back.

You are the OP... You stated.

Whichever way you read that sentence it equates to that you successfully made an appointment. 

 

As it turns out you do NOT have an appointment and plan to try for Oct 21 very early tomorrow morning.

An appointment for October 21, 2025 should be available at 00:01 on September 21, 2025 (early Sunday morning).

 

I see appointment slots available today - for OTHER ACTIVITIES (90 day, re-enrty permit) NOT RET EXT - for October 20, so am confident my experience the last three years remains in force.

 

 

Four slots still open now for Oct. 21, ext/stay-ret at CW.

And even now at 11am there is still two time slots available for Oct 21.

Seems even you wait till early morning of next day being added that you can make an appointment. 

I would use your suggestion of 00.01am as likely more slots to select from.

I didn't think they accepted appointments for that.  It's one of the busiest sections by far.

Why not try the ploy outlined in the thread

Check for slots at midnight when next day opens up. 

And just now early morning as Oct 22 is added to window there are 5 slots available for Oct 22.

So it's possible to obtain a booking by just waiting till new day is added and pounce.
