Utter rubbish (if you will excuse the expression!)

When he was PM, us country bumpkins and Northerners (also much of the Thai population) throughout Lanna and Isaan enjoyed the benefits of various infrastructure investment projects in transport, agriculture, new businesses, telecommunications and tourism. Such an improvement in our quality of life. Thank you Mister Thaksin.

I totally agree with you Burma Bill, I've been married to a Thai for the past 25 years and still get treated like a tourist. When Yingluck was PM our exchange rates were very good. So in comes the military and our exchange rates dropped by 30% in about 6 weeks. As I'm a nobody in Thailand I couldn't careless who's in power as long as they leave our exchange rates alone.

  • The biggest disservice was having that airhead as PM

  • Swamp, sewage, mud, and filth, that's where Tony is truly in his element. He has been swimming in it all his life.

I don't suppose that he thought it easier to flee when outside and grab a waiting plane to Dubai?

Credit where credit is due - he was out of the country recently in his own transport and came back voluntarily.

So. she is a doctor now?

Same as JKF junior

Is Taksin qualified for this position?

Does he have relevant previous experience?

Being it, supported by it, surrounded by it, treating people like it and talking it, yes  Jim, more than qualified to be in charge of it

What privileges is he getting?   The OP doesn't report that he is.

He's already abused all privilege afforded to mankind since he returned from exile

can't equate him to anything higher than that green foam that floats on ponds

So you cannot name one single privilege that he is currently getting, then, as someone claimed with your apparent support?

He's still allowed to see sunrise

That's what they want you to think.

Yes, I am aware of this. Especially in his first term, he did a lot of good for the working class/farmers (30 Baht health scheme, minimum wage upped from 170 to 300 Baht...). That's why he won the second term in a landslide. Thaksin is not stupid like the orange retard in the WH, he knows you have to have some policies that help the mass of people to stay in power forever. But ultimately, his goals are enriching himself and power, not the welfare of the Thai people, just like the orange blob he doesn't give a s..t.

If Thaksin has to abide by prison regulations, what has not been answered, is he sleeping on the floor or does he have a comfy bed, especially now that Dr Paetongtarn has reported that her father is in good health and stable condition?

Will we ever know the answer to that? I doubt it.

Although having said that, I understand that there are no beds in any of the Thai prisons.

Stupid comment. You should surely know that ex presidents do not sleep on the floors of cells with other inmates. Not in Thailand or elsewhere.

So you really think the presidents that followed Thaksin were better leaders ?
That is laughable. Thaksin did a lot of good for Thailands poor and commerce.  No , he wasn’t stupid, he was an educated man who made his own fortune.
Wait and see what the present governments and leaders will do. Most of the insults about Thaksin here are coming from uneducated far leftists.

your comments are laughable         Thaskin did a lot of evil thing to the thai people for his own money making schemes  read his history before  you say Thaskin did a lot of good

In terms of "stupidity" your comment beats his by a country mile.  Everyone sleeps on the floor in Thai prisons and with other inmates regardless of their previous status.

Thaksin is a 'lefty', so any insults are from 'rightys'.

Also, please tell us more about Thailand's presidents.

Where's your proof?  Do you have a link?  Thought not.

Think and try to get your brain into action before you post, that's of course if you have one.

This is Thailand and NOT the USA!

Why try and bring in lefty/righty politics into Thai politics!

I didn't, I was replying to someone else who did.
