From Science Daily:

This high-sugar fruit may actually lower diabetes risk

Mangos beat low-sugar snacks in a study, improving blood sugar and body fat in prediabetics.

Mangos, often dismissed as too sugary, may hold hidden benefits for those at risk of diabetes. A George Mason University study found that daily mango eaters showed better blood sugar control and less body fat than those eating a lower-sugar snack.

Mango is my favorite fruit. Thailands mango beats the mangos they grow in mexico by a mile. The mangos and coconuts are reason enough for me to visit thailand

Next time use a Thai mango, as AG says they are much better than the Mexican one you posted up. In fact there is no comparison between the two.

I eat mangoes every day in season, great in milkshakes, my fav. Price has flown up recently presumably not in season so I'm having a break for a month or two
