A fire broke out early on 1 October 2025 at an electric motorbike shop in Samut Prakan province, destroying 20 vehicles. The incident occurred around 06.10 in a four-storey commercial building on Thepharak Road, kilometre 5, in Thepharak subdistrict, Mueang district. Fire crews from Thepharak Municipality deployed fire engines and were supported by Por Teck Tung Foundation volunteers.

The suspects, identified as Boonrit, 43 and Phakorn, 30, were detained in Phaya Mengrai district on 1 October 2025 following a coordinated investigation. Interpol Fugitive Arrested in Bangkok With Drugs & Firearms

Immigration Police, working with the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), have arrested a 40-year-old African man wanted by Interpol for international drug trafficking. The suspect, identified as Emmanuel Abbo, was detained in Bangkok’s Pratunam area on 1 October 2025 after more than a year in hiding. His arrest took place on Phetchaburi Road in full view of the public.

Man Falls to His Death From Condo in Pattaya

A man believed to be of Asian origin died after falling from a condominium in North Pattaya on 1 October 2025. His body was discovered on the ground between two towers of the complex, ripped into two parts from the force of the impact. Police, doctors and rescue workers from Sawang Boriboon Foundation attended the scene shortly after receiving a report at 12.30.

Man Burns and Stabs Co-Worker to Death in Nakhon Phanom

A 53-year-old man died after being doused in petrol, set on fire and stabbed multiple times by a colleague in Nakhon Phanom Province. The attack took place on 30 September 2025 at around 15:00 inside a warehouse on Highway 2033 in Na Kae Subdistrict, just 200 metres from Na Kae Police Station. Police arrested the suspect, 46-year-old Mr Sornchai Yatakhot, at the scene, where he was found waiting with a knife, lighter, petrol container and motorcycle.

Man Electrocuted After Fish Raft Hits Power Line in Nan River

A incident occurred in Uttaradit on the morning of 1 October 2025 when a man travelling on a drifting fish raft was electrocuted and fell into the Nan River. The raft, was swept away by the fast current, struck high-voltage wires hanging near a bridge in Phichai district, sparking a fire ball that engulfed the man before he plunged into the water and disappeared. The incident shocked onlookers and left local residents distressed.

Air Arabia Adds Third Daily Phuket Flight From December

Air Arabia will increase its services to Thailand by adding a third daily flight between Sharjah and Phuket from 15 December, citing strong demand from travellers in the United Arab Emirates. A 51-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a freight train while crossing tracks in Chon Buri late on 30 September 2025. The crash happened at around 23:00 at the Wat Thong Khung railway crossing in Na Pa Subdistrict, Mueang District. Police and rescue workers found the victim, Mr Jamras Kaewkrong, lying near the tracks with fatal head injuries.
