I used to eat there a lot when I worked in the City. Fantastic food. Would sometimes have breakfast meetings there and they did bacon in naan bread. Absolutely delicious.

Khualek on the Ping river in Chiang Mai is a regular lunchtime venue. Lovely setting when the weather is good and food is decent. Particularly like the Gaeng Hung Lay.

The food there is special. You can eat well in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, but Dishoom is unequalled.

Sri Trat Seafood across the street from me, every week.

Does Trat really have its own food? No, but I don't care.

It's an extremely heated toss up between McDonald's and KFC, with Burger King running in at a close third.

Sorry bro, it's Pizza Hut in 4th and Dairy Queen in 5th. That leaves Subway in a runoff for 6th with Chester's Grill.

Broiling flamers are not my thing. Talk to Bob about that.

I have been known to munch on a Dairy Queen chilli cheese hot dog when out shopping with the Mrs.......

I'm not proud of it but it fulfils a need.

My fortune teller recently told me I should try and hit all six of these top venues in a day. Reckons it is auspicious and might improve my luck... and my chances of getting heart disease.
