A Thai man is appealing for assistance in identifying a foreign suspect accused of stealing two laptops and a wallet from accommodations in Bang Tao, Phuket, on October 1. Ferosh "Eve" Suriya shared CCTV footage on Facebook, asking the public for any information about the man's identity. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt has provided an update, on the collapse of Samsen Road, following heavy rainfall in the capital. He live-streamed the situation on his personal Facebook page on 3 October while inspecting the area in front of Vajira Hospital in Dusit district. Officials reported light waterlogging in the subsided section of around 23 millimetres after rain fell at 05:00.

On the evening of 2 October 2025, a man, believed to be homeless, was fatally struck by multiple vehicles on Mittraphap Road (Highway 2) near Ban Khao, Mueang District, Udon Thani. The incident occurred at approximately 19:00, leaving the victim’s body severely damaged, in multiple pieces and unrecognisable. On the morning of 3 October 2025, a large fire engulfed a mechanical oil and agricultural equipment store on Sukhumvit Nakhon Rayong 29 Road in Mueang District, Rayong. The blaze destroyed the warehouse, producing thick black smoke and strong chemical odours and causing significant damage to stock and property. Authorities mobilised multiple fire engines to control the fire, which took nearly four hours to bring under control.

Motorbike Taxi Driver, 74, Robbed of Lottery Winnings

A 74-year-old motorbike taxi driver in Ang Thong province was robbed of 17,000 baht by a female passenger on 2 October, shortly after collecting money he had won on the lottery. The victim, identified only as Mr Chieb, said the money included 5,000 baht given by his son that morning, the lottery winnings and his daily earnings from his taxi work. The theft left him distressed, prompting him to file a complaint with police.

Consumer protection police have seized over 5 million baht worth of illegal cigarettes and e-cigarettes concealed in fruit boxes and transported via a private courier service in Hat Yai, Songkhla. Two thieves stole a safe containing assets worth more than 10 million baht from the Trang home of Adisorn Tanhenchuan, President of the Federation of Southern Industries. The suspects stopped to drink wine during the burglary before fleeing, leaving behind DNA and fingerprint evidence that police are now analysing. One man has been arrested, while a 100,000 baht reward is offered for information leading to the capture of the second.

Bangkok Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of Friend

Police have arrested a 50-year-old man known as “Pui Huai Khwang” for fatally stabbing his friend in Din Daeng, Bangkok, on 2 October 2025. The suspect was detained under Criminal Court warrant number 5800/2568 on charges of murder. He allegedly attacked the victim following a heated dispute, claiming he had been mocked for being poor.

Police Seize 3 Million Meth Pills Hidden in Pickup & Hut

Police have seized more than three million methamphetamine pills following the arrest of a suspected drug dealer in Suphan Buri province. Officers intercepted the suspect’s vehicle and later discovered further narcotics hidden in a makeshift storage hut. The operation marks one of the largest drug seizures in the area this year.
