Pattaya Lawyer for Document Certification

Featured Replies

A friend's widow needs to have 3 documents certified.

Does anyone have a local recommendation - preferably central Pattaya/Jomtien.

Just search it plenty out there.  I used J and E a while back it was 1,000 b per documents for certified and stamped by a Thai lawyer.

Magna Carta on Tai perhaps!

Does it relly need to be a lawyer?

Yes, unfortunately. I am perfectly capable and qualified to do it and I think anyone who is able to certify, say, a Life Certificate should be able to sign these documents off.

That said, AVIVA will pay the costs involved.

I did search and have my own list but I was looking for a local recommendation. I hadn't thought of J & E - thank you - they did my driving licence renewal, nice people,

The body / institution requiring the certification will usually advise whom is accepted to certify the document whether it be for ID or address / other .Normally a Notary Public, a lawyer , Jstice of the Peace , Government official etc etc   The wording to be on the Certification is is also normally stipulated .    Try Thai Euro Law opposite Big C South Pattaya.

You can also try Thai Living on Threppasit next to Atlantis. I’ve used them several times. Great law firm and notary.

Euro-Thai Law in the side street opposite Big C on Sukhumvit charges 500 baht to stamp and witness documents.
