Oh I just cannot wait to see the hordes of Indian men holding hands and walking down the middle of the soi stopping traffic.

I once got seated behind two rows of Indians, men and women on a long haul flight. Got seated and it smelled of a B.O. farm animal yard. Told the stewardess "no way", 12 hours of this? They found me a seat in a different part of the plane.

Preparing myself for the parties and fireworks from the apartment building not too far away. 🎉

The worst dirtiest people i ever had stay in my rooms was a Canadian family. Disgusting. Indian guys are all right if you let them know the rules from the start

I have witnessed them handling buffet food and putting it back . Seen them using the swimming pool in their underwear ( despite notices saying that it is not allowed ) . They get quite large discounts at hotels where they make a party booking . Rearrange table settings in restaurants to cater for their party and leave other diners in uncomfortable situations . Stare at young European ladies at the swimming pool and take photographs of them . They have not discovered deodorants yet . Etc etc . Probably gonna put off many Western tourists from returning to Thailand or be very careful of the hotels that they choose to stay at . Lastly , they do not spend much money , looking only window shopping .

Maybe they were Jewish Australians?

I have never met a poor jew.

They would have bought the flat they live in, not rent one.

So I just drove from Central Thailand to my home in East Pattaya to find another plethora of Indian tourists?

I was only gone a week.

Wow. Reverse gear please.🙃🙃

I agree re reverse gear.

I suppose there are some dim Indian tourists as well visiting Pattaya, they will be shocked at the low life they see there, it will be their first and last trip to the place as was mine in 2019, I lasted half a day and I went into reverse gear ASAP. 😃

So you follow them around the shops to see what they are up to or have you just listened to gossip.

They use the swimming pool yet they still smell, how does that work?

Ah.... you went to Central Pattaya for a holiday. I only rarely go to Central Pattaya to pay some bills etc.

Shame that you didn't get out to the Darkside @ East Pattaya.🙃🙃

You could learn how to pay bills online or via smartphone apps, then you would not have to go there at all.😄

I prefer to live in Phuket, I am ten minutes away from all of the facilities I need by car, plus of the 350 houses in this gated complex there are only two other farang families, the rest are Thai, and no through traffic as it is a private estate.

I was away in the sticks in Surat Thani province for two days, two weeks ago, nothing in the village except coconut trees and more coconut trees and a temple, I was glad to get back to the international feel and the advanced living of Phuket.

Diwali, or Navaratri, is a beautiful festival for Thai-Indians. Some homes in our mooban put out their oil lamps. Indians are peaceful neighbours and their food is great for vegetarians.

Navaratri is a completely different festival and was 22nd Sept - 2nd October.

Diwali is on 20th October.

Sorry! My timing was off. Thanks for the correction .
