Please, sir!

President Joseph Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

How dare you refer to our democratically elected executives in such a pathetic manner!  Know thy place and show some respect!

No... We need to enact the 25th Amendment to the US Constitution.

That's what it's there for.

Kinzinger is spot on. I wish he'd run for office but the system is rigged against him.

interesting use of the word "we"  from somebody too frightened to return home

"When a leader calls his own citizens vermin and warns of an enemy within, he’s not protecting America"

He's not far off the mark either, no shortage of vermin in the USA. or "enemies within"

And now you need to resort to insults and denigrate your opponents?

(Opps! Sorry, MAGA, 'denigrate' means to disparage or belittle.)

Respect? For whom?
I dislike Trump because I respect the Office of the President.

I dislike Trump also because I respect the office of the Presidency as well as the founding principles of the United States, as outlined in the incredible and timeless document written by James Madison and Thomas Jefferson.

For the first time in human history, a nation was founded with the ideals of free speech, a free press, freedom of assembly and no particular religious belief system thrust upon the people. Never were those 4 things ever put in writing together, and Madison and Jefferson thought them so important they put it first in the Constitution. Those men knew what they set forth was a work in progress, aimed eventually at total equality. They knew their own human failings (Jefferson and his slaves), but wrote a document just vague enough so that as human decency and morality progressed, total equality was possible. The entire world benefited from that document, because it introduced the concept to every human being that all have value and basic rights, and none is better simply because they were born. NO KINGS!

Trump is against all of those 4 things and fancies himself some sort of monarch. He is a traitor to the true ideals of the United States.

Like many who believe those things are what make human beings free, I swore an oath to that document before I served the nation it represents. Trump disgusts me because he expects all must swear an oath to him, and his goal is not to make the US a better place, but simply to enrich himself and give himself a chance to engage in retribution against anyone who has ever criticized him.

MAGAs like to refer to how I feel as some sort of "syndrome". I call it what it is: Patriotism.

Your last sentence sums it up perfectly.

"I call it what it is: Patriotism."

Man up?  Like the guy who runs to the White House bunker when a group of post-menopausal women of Code Pink show up on Pennsylvania Ave?

Not sure what silly attributes you put on "manly", but if it's fat, dumb, out of shape and with bone spurs, I guess I fail.

Standing up for democracy seems manly. Standing up for the Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights, seems manly to me. Taking time voluntarily to serve the nation and go into harm's way on behalf of the nation seems manly to me.

No we should not try to be constructive?

No Mr Trumps "enthusiasms"will not be exposed?

No such exposure will not be embarrassing in the context of a Nobel Laureate?

No as in a blanket denial?

I wonder if Prang served in HIS military.

I  served in mine. I volunteered, wasn't drafted. I think every American should spend a few years doing some sort of either Civil or Military service.

What I'm seeing being said in this thread about freedoms, the Constitution, humanity... I wonder if this is the same world I grew up in?

There's never been violence during the transfer of power, it's a national disgrace that Trump killed five people.  He's done good in Gaza so far, but it's the first time he's gotten something right.

That was Netanyahu staging the whole thing so that Trump would win the Peace Prize. Unfortunately for Trump, Netanyahu timed it wrong and it came too late for the committee to factor it in.😄

Manly Trump had five deferments and suddenly became stricken with bonespurs when his country called....despite being on college golf and football squads and in ROTC at a military academy.

Heck, even the Austrian painter served honourably at the front (Ypres, Somme, Paschendale, etc), being wounded on several occasions, earning the Iron Cross for distinguished service twice.

Methinks Trump needs an Iron Cross......maybe he can petition the Bundeswehr for a special honorary award...........or else!

Biden is no longer in office and I would not have referred to him as sleepy joe if he was. Harris was a DEI hire and as such is not due any respect, however if she was the President she would be due respect

I have no idea what you are talking about, was this "in the river" or "in the sea"   and if you are talking about doom goblin Thunbergs "flotilla" then the answer is ,  "not enough"

And President Trump should be applauded by everybody for doing just that,  He works for free, draws no salary, and took a bullet.   The guy is a hero and probably the best president you have ever had, .  What do you consider his best contribution to the USA has been so far then?

By the way  if i need an English lesson I'll find myself a teacher and  it certainly won't be an illiterate one.   go on tell me what "Opps!" means   we do  have a similar word in the English language, that would be appropriate to be  used  in such a situation.   A simple word that you however seem unable to spell. do you know what it is?
